'Well played Dob,' Johnny says, before a cold and foreboding shiver of dread runs down their spine. "Don't encourage him!" Corazon's warning comes too late. Before Johnny knows it, the guild is drunk, Corazon is a drowning chair, Merilwen is sailing away to start a new life, the whole town is awake , a crew is dead, a warehouse is on fire and Prudence is surprisingly less chaotic than usual.

Right my DM from my first D&D campaign allowed me to roll when I wanted to mess with a computer, it was a 1 epic fail we all died instantly (plus all the people on the planet) and the villian was able to escape and do whatever he wanted till the end of time. The DM was a bit pissed to say the least, it was still around the beginning of the campaign.

Merilwen would totally think appropriate flirting talk would be questions like "what's your favourite non-deciduous tree?" and "would you rather be stung by Dendrocnide moroides (the suicide plant, people have shot themselves after touching it) or Hogweed (basically makes you allergic to sunlight and can blind you).

There are 3 types of dnd party’s: Critical role- professional follows the rules to the letter has a vast world with intricate story The adventure zone: family dnd that doesn’t follow the rules fully its all about having fun and starts as a disaster but as time progresses gets deeper and deeper Then theirs oxventures: a fuckig disaster and nothing goes properly and how the resolution is reached no one knows

Oh yeah! That'd be....the chicken-man's wife, the harbormaster, those guys they stole a table from, the one surviving goblin in Wild Wild Woods, at least half the guards in Quiet Riot, Katie Pearlhead, whoever met them at the party in Heist Society, and the entire town that they helped "rebuild"

@@HazeEmry in their second adventure, they were in need of a table to eavesdrop onto Corazon's crew from. They got one by terrifying some fishermen into vacating their table (and kidneys, and bowels). That's the table theft I'm referring to. Edit - to be more specific, it went like this: Fisherman: "Oh, we're good for drinks, thanks." Prudence: 👹*"LEAVE THIS PLACE, WE WANT THIS TABLE."*

It's honestly a testament to his prowess at DMing that he managed to get some sort of conclusion together from this. He said in the Q&A afterwards that this was the most violent derailment he's ever dealt with, haha!

I think if Egbert had a wisdom score not normally reserved for a woodland critter, he might be a bit worried about becoming a fallen paladin. The only thing that saves him, repeatedly, is that he can't form intent to violate his oaths.

In my headcanon the only reason his god hasn't taken away his powers yet is because they are watching from the higher planes out of morbid curiosity over what he's going to do next, and maybe one day it'll go so far that his church can call a crusade to go stop him.

I was in the audience. Before the show started, these people cosplaying Gandalf the grey and Aragorn walked past in the distance and someone in the queue for d+d said "there's a commentator called Bilbo Baggins , I wonder if that's him?" I've been noticed, I thought. Then the conversation started, just to pass the time. 5 minutes later and I'm part of a group of around 8 random strangers all talking to each other. Well done oxbox for making that happen. Bring on the next campaign.
