Saw them live in '98 or so and couldn't believe they still sounded so good. And even though I loved Freddie Mercury, Paul did a tremendous job when he was touring with Queen. Best voice in rock.
man aint no new rock compares to bad company and the old stuff. 80's and older is the shit. and no i aint 100 yrs old. im 21 just appreciate real music
UN FUCKINBELIEAVABLE! I get to meet 'the voice' next week Aug 8th 2008 in FtLauderdale at the hard rock. Mentor is not a big enough word to describe what Paul means to me. Thanks man...from day 1 of FREE, you are rocks standard bearer in the singing realm of things. I am eternally grateful. Barry
dang ive never heard this song live only the studio version!!!! its so much better then the studio version i think lol i love that guys voice it fits the song perfectly
@NariofNowhere It's that kind of tune, that should be played each time a bad-ass guy leaves a loving girl behind and drives away in his Mustang never to return.
The other day i saw the Simpsons and this song was in it. Awesome. The Episode is where Flanders Moves and the town hes in no one likes his mustach and he refuses to shave it.
I think someone should take some Clint Eastwood clips from his spaghetti Western days, like from High Plains Drifter, Fist Full of Dollars, ect...., and make them into a video for this song. That would be cool!
this is like watching that bright ass lightning bolt crash to the ground in the middle of a thunderstorm.......holy bat-shit batman...did I say " WOW "
yes..=D ..two great bands..queen & bad co. but.. queen everyone in the world knows this.. if i receive a invite from brian may to sing together............... =P you understand.. lol
if anyone thinks these guys suck, you can blow dogs for quarters....they kick arse...why else would 5FDP cover this....this Bad Company album was the first rock album my father ever got me...you have to appreciate classic rock, before you can understand today's rock scene...
perhaps he is singing it w/ a bit more improvising because he is bored w/ singing it straight like the original recording, but he sounds fine, is on pitch & Paul being one of the best Rock voices since the 60's always is on his game. if you are in pain, perhaps you are sitting on something sharp, i'd ask out of a "Morbid Curiousity" what exactly it is that pains you, but i know it would be a waste of time.
I'm not disputing your answer mate, Yes he is!!!, I'm simply saying why does he need to join Queen who are IMO the most overrated band EVER!! Bad Co and Free were much better.
