The 1:5 scale Dassault Rafale RC plane has excellent flight characteristics and is equipped with an extremely powerful turbine that gives the RC jet a thrust of 32 kiloponds. In addition, the aircraft features vector controls that allow the RC model to turn virtually on the spot in the air, make extremely tight turns, or remain stationary, hovering just above the ground.
This allows the RC Jet a spectacular flight pattern. Simply breathtaking as the RC Dassault Rafale flies through the air. In addition, there is the fascinating sound of a turbine-powered model airplane.After take-off, the RC plane flies a few maneuvers and shows what a vector-controlled aircraft can do: For example: vertical climb, spin, aircraft turns 180 or 360 degrees on the spot or hovering just above the ground.
But then it happens. Exactly while hovering just above the ground, the RC plane crashes. The cause of the crash is unclear.In the crash, the rudder breaks off and the winglets on the wing tips are damaged.Luckily the plane didn't burst into flames after the crash and the pilot and his helpers were able to quickly recover the RC jet.
