@@jamiegameplaythrough9485if you mean pressinf the skip button it just skips the cutscene and takes you either to an unskippable one (like when the final phase of mr grizz's fight starts,) back to normal gameplay, or to a retry screen if you got the bad ending/lost
@@shou_gana1 I meant after the cutscene. I tried it myself, but it just skips the Mr. Grizz's defeat. I assumed the skip option would show a specific line, just like Octo Expansion did, but it didn't.
Splatoon 3's bad ending is nightmare fuel, that laugh is haunting... Also, for those who don't know, it's confirmed that any Inkling or Octoling who touches the ooze loses their sense of self completely which makes this even more nightmarish.
@@PrideEepy64 It's a weird plan but it was more about creating the perfect lifeform if I remember correctly. Tartar went insane due to the way that Inklings acted.
@@kedinamite579 that's the fact. I would've been really disappointed if we would've gotten a simple "Game Over" if we lost these final battles. So relieved they showed an aftermath to our lost battle (even tho it's terrifying, omg-)
For those who don't know, that weird radio and gargled noise that plays as the earth gets covered in fuzz is *Mr. Grizz laughing his a$$ off.* Sounds incredibly rehearsed.
oh yeah the “worst” part is that if you pay attention close enough you can hear him laughing so hard that you can hear thumping sounds from him hitting the rocket
If the Octo Expansion bad ending was made darker, it would show the sanitized inklings and octolings acting like zombies and spreading its sanitization everywhere like a zombie apocalypse until every piece of land has been inked and sanitized.
I’m afraid to think what the bad ending of Side Order will look like considering that the trailer itself was pretty disturbing (in a good way of course)
Splatoon 3’s game over adds more drama because it gives more perspective of what happens with the city. I love them both though, very dark for a “kids game” 😅.

In my opinion, the bad ending of Splatoon 3 was the single darkest moment of gaming in 2022. Yes, even darker than Kirby. Heck, maybe even the darkest moment of entertainment of the year period. The implications… the distorted music… the laugh… it’s pure nightmare fuel, but I love it.
The factor that you miss that causes all of us nightmares is staring directly at the growth of Fuzz that envelops the planet Earth, especially the rainbow-like ooze. Kinda like staring at a spherical naked human eye. That's the frightening factor. Is that ooze, am I right?
It’s much scarier in splatoon since we’re technically hearing the last words of deep cut unlike octo expansion where it’s off the hook and cuttlefish being completely distraught at the destruction of inkopolis
Creepy details,in the first picture of Splatoon 3's bad ending you see the sun shining through the clouds, that show that Mr grizz just ruined a beautiful day where there was a bright Sun and a perfect blue sky

Im wondering to. If I had to guess it's 8's time before octo expansion. Everyone says it's marina but the character isn't dark skinned enough to be her if you ask me. But that coulda been an error on nintendos part. But even then we've never played as a named character before. So if not 8 it might be a new octoling.
Yoooo, eerie. Eerie indeed, dude. But the OST in the background in 3's bad ending? Admire it. Unforgettable. Also, that's the first finale that I've managed to discover, since I showed Grizz how much of an idiot I can be. He laughed at me, so hard. Eventually, I blasted him with the unexpected company of Octavio.
The first time I lost during the final boss of Splatoon 3, I wondered if they were gonna make the ending scarier than Octo Expansion. After all, the two have similar themes with non-cephalopods wanting to change the world by coating it in weird ink. Let's just say I sat on my couch mortified watching that ending for the first time.

The Manta Clan, his both-female bandmates, and the player, all becoming furries against their will, leaving the manta ray as the sole survivor of Hairmaggedon (no, HR, I'm not sorry). All that happens with a blank expression on his face but that can be interpreted in a lot of ways💀
I was thinking of the things that did survive the hairmageddon: *Reptiles.* lizards and birds survived an asteroid, so everyone transforming into furries wouldn't deal that much damage. (I think) *insects.* they've already survived the great dying, the K-PG extinction, and global warming. (If there are any, which there probably are due to no bigfin squid or Giant squid) *the cephalopods that never got to the crystals in the first place.*
I also like the fact that you received O.R.C.A's message in the bad ending _not as an agent_ But as an alien who happened to come across a furry, hellish landscape
If the dlc is about agent 8's mind and something about mental illness, as bad as it sounds, the bad ending being agent 8 in a... Not well state would be kinda cool and creepy, very
Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion - When the time runs out, Tartar blasts the Ooze Ray at the Inktopolis and leaves it sanitized to create a new world. Splatoon 3: When the time runs out, Mr. Grizz's rocket hits the Earth and it becomes Fuzzified with Inklings and Octolings turning into mammals and lose their self-awareness, while Mr. Grizz laughs glitchingly at his victory.

I wish there was one for Side Order where Order pushes back against the grayscaling errors that hit him in the spectrum obligato stage and creates his world of order.
I remember dying in Splatoon 3 finale and just when the cutscene started Frye's voice said "wattafak." Edit: Frye actually has a voiceline used randomly that sounds like she just says "Wattafak".

octo expansion is more sad in my opinion because of the music Splatoon 3 is like even worse then octo expansion the ending should be removed because little kids could get nightmares.
I don’t really care about which ending is darker, I feel really bad for the idols who have to watch the world get covered in fuzzy ooze, or watch their kind get blended up because of the agents fail. They can’t do anything about it, so they just have to sit there and watch.
Couldn't they do something too? I mean, Pearl could've shoot the laser even if the statue wasn't completely inked. I don't understand what's the problem if you miss one single bomb, but yeah if it's about Splat. 3 then it's right.
I think the OE style works surprisingly well. It draws the player more in as the levels aren’t as linear, but are still a bit of a challenge. Although I do agree with that it felt too similar to OE, but they ran with it and made it work.
@@the_mars_bar Its definitely not a bad style at all, but I think a little bit more could have been done to make them feel a little different, a lot of the look of things made it feel very OE, so maybe if they looked a little different that'd be a bit better.
Well, in the Octo Expansion, Pearl, Mariana, Cuttlefish, Agent 3 and Agent 8 would be the only survivors, even if they defeat Tartar after Inkopolis Square destruction, nothing will change, because the inkling race is gone, and in Splat3 kinda the same situation, but only Octavio, Smallfry and New Agent 3 would be the only survivors, even if they defeat Grizz, nothing will change, so basically it doesn't matter if the survivors try to stop the bad guy because the damage's already done and can't be healed....
I guess people are always seeking revenge like how DJ Octavio lost the Great turf war and seek revenge And the splatoon 3 bad ending will be haunting me about the music and laugh just that’s nightmare fuel

Basically Commander Tartar (the telephone) has a statue with a laser in it and marina sends you to cover the statue in ink to stop it from charging and if you fail the statue launches the laser and basically annihilates inkopolis
nah those are definitely Inklings and Octolings; those are the exact same fuzzballs your character turns into if they touch Fuzzy Ooze in Alterna @@UmbraticStickerz
