Love your content. I live in Thailand for 6 months of the year but unfortunately have to go back to UK to work for the other 6 months. One day I hope to achieve what you have with the perfect self sufficient family life in the Thai countryside. Keep the vids coming mate and good luck with the new channel.
Similar to me, I live in Thailand for 3 months of the year and have to go back to work in the US ... soon it will be 6 months living in Thailand . Hopefully, I will live in Thailand all year round if I don't worry about money at all.
Been doing the same thing but with the Philippines for 10 year. This is my last year doing it. Life has passed.by and as soon I get home to my country I start to plan and save to leave again. Can't live that way forever
What kinda job yall got, please share!!!! I am trying to cut a deal with my company to WFH in Thailand and willing to take a deep pay cut, but I can only do less than 30 days a year + 1 month PTO due to income tax jurisdiction. 😬
It's good to see Damo overcoming her camera shyness..😂. You have a great life and a beautiful family Ryan. Blessings brother from Chicago, Illinois USA
Much love and support Ryan, Damo and Tis! I feel for you mate, not being able to go home in a time of need. We're all thinking of you and sending every bit of happiness and hope your way. Take care, and always appreciate everything you are and have and remember, we're all in this together mate, even though we may be countries apart. If you need anything at all, reach out - more than happy to help!
Hearing your son talk with his cool binoculars really took me back to when my son was that age. 😄🤗🤗 My son is in his mid 20's now. Your family is so beautiful. The Thai travel bureau should pay your family for the beautiful content you show of the country. All the best
Great to hear the old man has pushed through and is out the other side. Awesome attachment to the kitchen...... BTW the clear blinds are easily damaged by the suns UV. Whilst wound up try to have some bamboo cover or some sort of home made "pelmet" over it so the blind is out of the sun unless in use. Will last a few more years if you do that.
It's a big relief your dad's better. I've been there and it's a worrying time when you're miles away, but keeping everything crossed for him. This vlog's full of every day's family life, 😊 so enjoyable. I too, always say "thank you" quietly to myself. As always 🙏 very much.
Great video Ryan love watching all the changes on the farm and how you involve Tis in everything he's going grow up a fine young man . Hope your father is ok now . Look forward to the next video keep safe brother 👍🤝
Love your née name - very fitting for your channel; sorry to hear of your Dad, hopefully, with gainful improvement soon! Otis is a smart kid, esp with your daily interactions with him, ie, teaching, involvement, hands-on and just communicating with zotud, builds a strong foundation when he becomes an adult!
Love the new title... Definitely keep it real, Sorry to hear about your dad and glad he is doing better. Have loved watching your progress since the start when it was just the land.. big hugs to tis and god bless your life journey... Miss my babies being that young. I hope my brother is as happy up there as you are.. Place is really looking amazing. simple yet stunning... Sending you all happy island vibes from the Philippines
I love your wife's perspective. She is so positive and beautiful. I love her " our life" statement. She is what the world needs. Your father needs to come to Thailand and he will be better. This positive environment will foster health and love.
Sorry to hear about your dad Ryan wishing him a very speedy recovery. The farm just gets better and better with all yours and Damos hard work. It warms my heart watching Otis he is adorable and such a little character ❤️❤️❤️
Hello! When I grew up, we had rabbits. Their cage had chicken mesh? / metal wires at the bottom. Not only to prevent escape, but just as importantly to stop foxes, dogs and badgers from digging their way in.... Have a great day🖖
Marvelous! The Title of this episode gave me a fright though! Sorry to hear about your tough break! My best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery of your father! God Bless! A nice new name to the blog! Tess is cool! Excellent episode!
A much better choice of channel name, Ryan. More inclusive, more down to earth and no confusions. I wish you all the best with the channel , health and happiness to the family 🦋
Wishing your dad a speedy recovery. Love the new name, but also how the place looks so luscious greener all around now since you have build the kitchen! The flowers are beautiful as well. I enjoy watching the natural country living videos. Keep up the good job👍
I am not surprised by your big news. It makes sense as you have such a bonded family....and we viewers love that. I look at this as part of spiritual growth....for all of you. Thanks Naked Guru...time for the Bamboo house to shine.
Even if you change the name of the channel, you are a Guru for a lot of us! I wish you good health and all the best to you and your family. Thanks for the videos!
4:28 Otis is getting big! Manual labour and loads of food - result!! (5:55 My crazy pal is heavily into regenerating land. Apparently a pig will clean out bad roots and useful poo nitrogen onto the soil). 9:30 I wonder what it would take to get a nice pile of maggots going. The chicken would love that.
Good to see you guys doing well! I like hearing about your "home steading", growing as much as you can for yourself. I've got my motivation back this year and hope to have the planting area in front of my apartment all showy again this year, maybe get another compliment from the apartment complex manager for that. No one else does that (and some don't really have planting areas), but, in past years I've had it looking good. Anyway, take care, and thanks for the videos that bring a bit of authentic interest to what it's like living in Thailand, instead of yet another of an endless recycle of bar hopping and bar girls.
What you need to do with the rabbit pen is to dig out the floor, put down some strong wire netting, then, put the soil back. Make sure that the wire netting comes up to meet the side netting. This will form a wire box and stop PR from digging his way down and out.
All the best for you Dad🙏. Well chosen channel name 🤗. Keep going, noone can take away what we experienced in the past with people we love. Future is unpredictable, but we can try to prepare us, to be ready when the time comes up. Greatings as always to al of you. Stay strong, stay happy and be well. 🙏😎🇨🇷
The personal interaction between your family and that with nature is beautiful to witness. Hope your Dad improves and you get to see him soon. By the way, what part of England do you hail from? Best wishes, Brian.
Love the new name.. the place is looking awesome!.. getting ready for winter over here.. beginning to gather wood in etc.. much love to you damo and Otis.. healing loves to you dad💜🦋🥀🕉
Very sorry to hear the news of your father Ryan, I hope he is doing well now. I like the name change and keep it real. Damo will do a great job I am sure. I always enjoy hearing the rooster crowing in the background. It is a sound I always associate with Thailand and it actually relaxes me lol. Nothing like sitting down enjoying a coffee and listening to the sounds and enjoying the landscape as the sun comes up in the morning in Thailand
New sub here. Hope your dad had a speedy recovery. I care for my 97yr old mom. I thank the Lord for giving her strength to get up and move about day by day. We all have a soul that will spend eternity in one of 2 places. May people seek the Lord while He may be found. Time is too short to fill our days with fables.
I love your farm, Damo and you have given me some ideas how to develop our garden in Noen Sayam, we have about 5 rai, and a big pond with fish. Keep up the good work 👍
Love the new name of the channel although the name “Naked Guru” was very unique. Always like to see Misery enjoying her life and your son, Tis, is very clever.
Prayers for your Dad. The new name is great idea. It was great name but maybe misunderstood. Especially in Thailand. Great work and thank you. I put your videos on and let them ride when I get homesick.
I just found your channel after watching your interview on Thairish Times. I enjoyed your insights and perspective. Looks like you’ve got a lovely family and a beautiful life in nature. My wife and I have been living similarly in countryside Japan for 14 years with plans to someday live in Thailand and Mexico. Thanks for sharing! 🙏 ❤️
Glad to hear your dad has recovered. We have left Thailand for our first home in Canada and temps around 13C. Spring. I hear that crazy bird… please include Mr Asian Cuckoo in your vlog… if you can find him!
Life in Bamboo is an EPIC name!! Thank you for sharing, I love watching you guys, you are living my dream!! I live in Los Angeles as a hard working chef in the hustle of the busy city, your channel so very refreshing to me.
Good luck with the rebrand; your channel does feel like one it will work for and the name does suit. I don’t think I was too for it initially but grown on me clearly 😆 Take care 🙏😎👍🏻
Another fun video that made me smile this Sunday morning in Florida....I do understand about hot days, we get them here too. Love you all and so happy you found Peter Rabbit....enjoy your day.....🙏❤️😎
Hi, I have been watching your videos for quite some time now. They have given me some great ideas for my forthcoming new adventure to live in Thailand after 17 years of saying that’s what I’m going to do. I love the open book honesty of what you are doing/have done so far. Keep the videos coming. Oh forgot to say I will be trying to copy the building of your outside lounge/kitchen area. I absolutely love it👍👍👍👍
what ever happened with the snake from your previous vlog? the one where you found the snakeskin but no snake. Great job on the coop and the pen!. a lovely way for the animals to live and for the children to interact and see the cycle of life in so many forms.
Otis is wearing the best shirt (Captain America) I agree with the name change come on you live in a bamboo hut 🛖 . Love your family content and your adventure in life. I will continue to watch and support this awesome channel
wow at the temperature ! We broke the barbecue out yesterday as we had sunshine on the Isle of Man .. it was 9 celsius ! Amazing what a bit of sun can achieve. Best wishes to you, glad you found Peter Rabbit. We put wire under our rabbit pens. Weld mesh, it stops predators digging in and bunnies digging out. Sure you can find something similar there. Love from the Isle of Man x
Another great vlog. I am happy to hear your dad emerged from the coma, I hope he can achieve full recovery. I love to see your patience with Otis, and the way you support him in his own voyage of discovery of the world and his place in it, (that place being whatever he chooses it to be). I was glad to see your update on the chicken supplements, I was leery of them when you purchased them in the previous vlog. I would be careful of the feed you purchased as well, much of the commercial feed is loaded with antibiotics and/or growth hormone. Also, if I can be so bold as to ask a for some follow up content, I am curious as to your solar system and to know how you feel about its performance to date. Cheers, another great vlog!
Hi gang! Hope ya all well, the "brand channel refresh" is fantastic, you three shining lights are fantastic and I wish you all the very best for the future, so much enjoy your adventures 😊😎👍
Love the name change. It makes good business sense too. Happy to hear your dad is doing better. Wishing him a speedy recovery. Seeing Otis's new hat, he is going to need a horse and a badge. And a name change for Peter Rabbit. Harry Houdini would be more appropriate. Thanks for another great vlog. 🙏😊
I like the name change, a bit more user friendly.....great bit of video at the end, that insect digging into the wood post or tree ? he was quite a handsome fellow, just standing there looking out, after all that hard work, brilliant...lol
I agreed with everything your wife like & said. She is just a cute lady & shine with positivity. I freaking love ur farm, the piggy looks so happy. Praying for your family in the UK.❤️
The life you have created with your beautiful family, animals and gardens brings joy to my soul and renews my faith in both humanity and Gods love for us. Very pleased also to hear your Dad is on the mend, the apple does not fall far from the tree, and the apple I see is quite amazing, so the tree must be a real good-en..555 Finding myself using english slang even though i am an aussie...I am in love with bamboo as a building material, and way back in the late 80's i lived in Kenya for a couple of years and spent some time in mud huts, with the grass roofs and they were brilliant, very cool in hot weather and not at all noisy when the heavy tropical rain fell..There is just something comforting to the soul about using natural material, such as wood, bamboo, mud brick and grass for construction. cheers for all your videos, they are very inspiring..Love, health and prosperity to you and all your family..
Interesting video. I try to listen to what Source is communicating, and today is exactly the second day in a row that I've heard Eckhart Tolle's name pop up, after about 10 years! I'm gonna look into that! Thanks!
Our old company (finished as of climate change : more rain and smog in winter) for cyclist training in Thailand was named "Bamboo Lake Village" as our pond, most area is surrounded by bamboo. Good Luck with the name.
Prayers for your Dad to feel good again soon. It does hurt to not be with family at times like this. In the meantime you are being a good husband and Dad to your family. Like the new name for the channel. I guess the original name has served it’s purpose. Time to change and progress into the future. Like the clear roll up cover to keep out rain. Bamboo must be very durable too. I like the roosts for the chickens. Different than the ones my grandpa used on his Texas farm. Good you are skipping the antibiotics for the chickens. Misery looks happy in her new home. Everything around your home looks very nice. Hello to the family. Take care.
