This song is how my son told me about his face tatts. Tom saved my son, if it wasn't for Tom, my boy wouldn't have gotten sober. Blame the Rappers ain't no joke! Thankfully, Tom turned his life around and gave hope to kids as a better role model!

"Live my life with no regrets" I tell my kids this. My daughter went through a real hard time and when she started getting her life back on track she told she regretted everything bad she did. My response to her was to never regret anything. You wouldn't be the person you are today without all those decisions in the past. You can be remorseful about things you did wrong but you should never regret, just learn from all your decisions.

Back in the early 2000's Madchild was in a group named Swollen Members they were chart toppers and even at one point were on smackdown versus raw game with their song Heavy. I use to listen to them alot Madchild doesn't lie when he says he blew a ton of cash in the other song a bit of background for those who didn't know him before Tom.

When I first listened to this song, I was like "what in the circus clown is this". I loved the chorus at first. After about 70,000 listening to it,on loop, I had to listen to more. Now HOG for life. The talent he has in his finger is more than so many others combined. Such a brilliant guy with an eye for perfection and amazing lyrics girl by his side. They have helped me out of a dark dark hole. Much love to both of them!

Having that kind of relationship with your parents were you can make these type of phone calls is a gift. My mom died when I was 22. Half our conversations were her reminding me to keep moving forward and learn form all the dumb shit. Even 14 years later I still get the urge to call her for reassurance or a different perspective

Love this song to just bang on and chill out to we all have those times with something going on in are lifes chasing whatever it might be. These 3 together on songs are great all compliment eachother vocals. 3 of my favourite Artist right now and Tom Macdonald has been since I found his music about 18months ago not a day I dont list to it lol that's helped by my 4yr old who also loves Tom's music and Loves Novas new songs too. I really enjoyed your breakdown of it. Most of the reactions I've seen to this song just talk about the catchiness and mainstream sound instead of the actual message they are talking about. But you paid attention to the lyrics, not just the catchy vibe. I really enjoy his calmer songs like this and castles a lot just for the change of pace and to see his more reflective side, he's not all about being loud but a very genuine guy with deep thoughts, you know?

For those that still have there mom give hugs to her as much as you can and tell her you love her and are proud to be here. I lost my mom 11 years ago due to un diagnosed cancer and never said goodbye because I didn't have the chance was on my way to the hospital when she went into cardiac arrest and she was gone when I got there.

Awww...i have to watch Tom Tuesday on Wednesday-😔 I loved it . This one is up there with my all time fav- ----I WISH-----MY PIC FOR TOM TUESDAY Side note- me being a mother of 3 boys I hate the lows they go through but I'm thankful they call me with them. Not being able to help fix it is always soul crushing for the parents but having a safe, soft place FOR them to fall back on is what parents do. We might not be able to always catch them but we will always be there to try and help ease the pain. I wish all kids had that!

It's autotune. Tom is showing mainstream rappers how to use it and make a good song. The song is about these rappers who sign with the music industry and end up lost, lonely and drug addicted. It's not about Tom, Madchild or Nova. Just an FYI.😆

Correct about the auto tune. Everyone gets it wrong as autotune is a program. What most people mean when they say autotune is pitch correction, which itself can't make you a good singer. All pitch correction does is correct one or two notes that were a little off in a recording so you don't have to go back in and record it again. T-Pain uses autotune really well and he can sing extremely well without any assistance (dearth T-Pain sings in interview to see an example). Conclusion: Autotune is an effect and a program whereas pitch correction could be any number of programs and is primarily used to correct a couple notes in an otherwise perfect recording.

I've gotten a couple similar calls from my son already. He got jumped in south Korea while in the army last summer while our at a bar he wasnt supposed to be at. His friend ended up in the brigg for stabbing someone and my son almost got thrown out. he's struggled in the military. It's a tough life. He's only 21

When I first heard the song, I didn't really like it. Since I'm a metalhead and usually don't listen to rap, this was way too 'pop' for my taste. But it grew on me, especially because I like the lyrics.
