It is literally so bad that it can't even complete most levels in the game

Tanukis, also known as raccoon dogs, are very much real and can be found in Japan. I think you were thinking of (one of the many) shape shifting Yokai known as the Tanuki (based on the same animal).

I remember having fun playing some of these as a kid. Ironically didn't work on me and I proceeded to eat McDonald's the next day.

I really hate how unaccurate these games are. The tanuki suit is a costume, pokemon and people are equals, pokemon battles are seen as a sport, and for the love of God, don't make cooking mama look like a psycho. I know that these are parodies, but imagine if a kid saw these, they would be traumatized.

Super Tanuki Skin 2D's reason to exist is so dumb, Nintendo had to fact check them that Mario getting the suit is from a magical leaf, even though it's easy to research after two decades.

The funny thing about Peta's relationship with Pokemon is that a friend once told me that everybody he's ever known who likes Pokemon has been way more considerate, and compassionate for animals than those who don't. You know. Because of the morals Pokemon teaches when you're not an ignorant observer looking in.

PETA weirdness aside, I actually enjoyed the Super Chick sisters game when I was younger. As a platformer it’s actually not too bad.

I've heard that the Cooking Mama game only got a lot of play because users thought the heavy-handed messaging was pretty funny. Someone ought to hack some of these games just to get PETA all twisted in the panties.

I used to be a member of peta as a kid, and even then these games made me uncomfortable the pokemon one made me ESPECIALLY mad, because pokemon is literally about friendship and loving pokemon

I remember playing that Peta version of cooking mamma as a little kid and I didn't take anything from it. To me it was just a game that was fun to play. And my sisters and I would try and see who can beat the game the fastest. We never even read all that extra text in there. Great job Peta, you've appealed to kids.

Oh SHIT! I remember when I was around 13 years old almost a decade ago, I saw someone at the daycare I was at PLAYING a Dark Cooking Mama game identical to the turkey one, but it was a chicken instead; obviously, I thought it was very offensive & questioned why they were playing it & why it existed. Oh, & that person playing the game was only either 10 or 11 years old at the time, too. 😱 Didn't know it was made by PETA. Edit: I'm not vegan either, just saying PETA is in the wrong because they are actually lying to people & being cruel to animals, & are VERY abusive people.

I've played cooking mama mama kills animals many times when i was a child, i even got jumpsacred by the intro and pretty much scarred from playing any cooking mama games but never knew the game was made by peta.

Here's something you forgot to mention, Conner: Super Tofu Boy was so bad that even the creators of the game decided to make a joke character named Tofu Boy and they added him in Super Meat Boy on December 8th, 2010. To unlock him, you have to type in (And no, I'm not making this up) "petaphile" in the character select screen itself. Yeah, even the creators of Super Meat Boy wanted to have a laugh at PETA. It's a price to pay for making a crappy parody game for the sole reason of protecting those animals even though they've probably done more harm than good.

Fun fact, the developers of Super Meat Boy added Tofu Boy to the game as an unlockable joke character. As you can expect, he's the worst character to play as. Maybe that's the message the developers were sending to PETA.

I played the Super Chick Sisters games before (I think I've played more than 1), I loved them although the later levels scared me as they got more bloody and creepy. Thankfully that game didn't have those PETA ads because it was on a Dutch gaming site.

Let me tell you all. I’m an animal lover and enthusiast who advocates against animal abuse but I hate PETA with a burning passion akin to the angry sun from Mario 3! I understand meat but they think the smallest egg or drop of milk always results from cruel abuse with absolutely no exception (they deny the existence of small organic farms and try to convince everyone they’re a myth when I actually know people who harvest eggs from hens and milk cows while giving them food and care in return). And they say wool is bad or even worse than fur when in reality, domestic sheep need to be shorn since that’s how our ancestors raised them and it’s our responsibility to shear them carefully. And the cherry on the sundae: Their president and founder thinks our ties with the animal kingdom are all a sin against nature (even something as harmless as animal sanctuaries or pet ownership). She even said our “pathetic” version of the cat should cease to exist (How can she say she treats animals ethically when she literally said house cats are pathetic just for needing human care?)

I actually played Super Chick Sisters (the original one, directed at KFC) back in the day. Never completed it, but at the time, i thought it was a decent game. 14-ish years later, with 20/20 hindsight AND the knowledge that PETA is run by hypocrites, my verdict still stands.

back in about 2016 i played new super chick sisters and after getting past the first level, seeing all the cheeseburgers in the game made me hungry for some so, that game made me go to mcdonalds to get a cheeseburger

To be honest im just glad that they didn't put N in the other Pokemon one. They put Ghetsis in it, which... makes sense kinda. But I'm glad they didn't massacre my boy.
