Greg is the most articulate singer ever and his linguistic skills are off the chart. Wanting to understand their lyrics is the main reason why I learned English.
I've settled for calling them "Thesaurus Punk " or " Encyclopedia Punkers" very bright and articulate lyrics; Like Propagandhi matters ranging from home grown (Canada) to countries like East Timor; Israel Palestine Middle East; He referenced quizzical conundrums of issues he (Greg) would be working on; I feel like Atlantic Years songs really take me back in time or to certain issues or demographics that I wouldn't have known about or understood as well. Both bands really are like taking history classes.
@lgwgn88 Lagwagon? Cool. Neat interview so far, charming and humanizing insights of my favorite band ever, but can you tell me what the others here in the comments were talking about at thirty-seven seconds into this segment? I am not getting it, is it the face Greg makes? People frequently tell me I "think too much" which I don't know how to take; sort of resent it I guess.... Was the face he makes what they're talking about? Anyway, thanks again so much! Nerds and geeks rule the world!
Earlier Lagwagon Joey lyrically really intense but passionate songs about broken home life society Lagwagon was a little more like Pennywise in that sense, where as Jim can be direct metaphorically, Joey did it a bit of a more playful way skirting around it from Points of view
