same here...im a civilian but these guys are still funny as hell to me...my brother was in the army and I went to see him so I stayed in the barracks for a week with those guys, had a blast...…. and damn those guys fuck with each other...Kilean tx or something is where I think it was...if you where the first room that the air conditioning went to then you had it made, further down the line and guys would put pillows in the air vents so ALL the air would pour into their room and screwed the guys in the top rooms....Texas is damn hot

Now there’s somehow based in New York. Despite that they say they’re fair until the actual new stories, they actually gaslight stuff, even throwing in a bunch of politically bias garbage. Such as if you look up, vetTV vice news, you’ll see that they went through great lengths to disable to comment section. Because every single comment on, there was probably speaking the truth about political correctness in war doesn’t exist. Even the woman who was interviewing Donny O’Malley literally was uncomfortable with everything he was saying. Didn’t even understand claiming she had relatives in her family who served you can see through her interaction that she’s uncomfortable with what’s going on. If you have relatives and your family, yeah veterans especially combat veterans. Some of them won’t tell you any of their dark humor because they know you as a civilian are uncomfortable. Now I am a civilian. I never served in the military but however I’ve been around people who have served and trust me. I know they’re humor pretty well. I’ve been around that shit, so I’m used to it. Hell I mean I did some research on branches in the military how the structures of recruitment work along with enlistment officer, ranks, you name it it’s like something Hollywood fails to do all the time.

I’m not military or even American, but Grunts’ Life was some of the best television I’ve ever watched - it’s up there with Deadwood and Andor even before you could consider that it’s telling a much more important story. (And I like to think that Murphy married his RMC valkyrie and had a happy life after the story was over..)
