I bet that civics brakes don't hold very well once boost builds therefore you should know its more a game of anticipation more than anything. You have to anticipate the countdown and how much boost you need to be at for go.
David Lutes the brakes hold 600hp just fine lol you oviously must have some kind of skill but even a beginner could brake boost their car. The count down is not a problem once both cars are next to each other at the agreed roll I start to brake boost and the countdown happens immediately after.. we know how to race here in south Florida lol. But you do have a point because once I'm brake boosting it's incredibly tough to hear the count hahaha thats probably the hardest part imo
Just a solid 8.8 with weight jacker lowers, double adjustable uppers, solid bushings, wolfe anti-roll bar, QA1 shocks etc. Tires are M/T 275 Pro. The biggest thing is the boost controller ramp is dialed in so it doesn't spin on the hit.
AlexxandriiaBettley the supra had traction issues if you watch the video. HP numbers mean little when a car doesn't hook. I only displayed the power I was told it had by the owner.
Yeah you could see he started to pull harder after a second or to but it wasn't enough. Guy didn't even brakeboost either... seems like he was either underestimating you or asleep at the wheel and paid the price
