Fantastic sound. Best band in the last 10 years I reckon. Alex is the most lively bassist I've seen in a while. I've read about Josh's anxiety disorders etc, how the hell do you push through that to get music of this quality?!
I think maybe the disorders is what created this quality. The songwriting is amazing. Vocals amazing. Drums hit so hard (especially on new stuff). All the guitars are amazing. Emotion/love of music is evident. Incredible live. They check all the boxes.
Yeah, just go by yourself if you can. They are on tour right now, so there is a good chance they might be playing near you. Where are you from? I just booked tickets to see them this Friday in Kansas City. Driving all day for that!
I told my daughter she has to go with me in July like it or not . Thankfully she checked them out and she's just as excited to see them as I am now . And I feel like the weird old lady obsessed with a younger band lol .

Thanks to THE STRUTS I was able to see these guys open for them last summer. (07/2018) Best opening band I have ever seen. Hope I’m able to see them headline a show sometime. So excited for their new album OK, IM SICK.
I’m a WLA woman, who moved to Reno , NV. That’s where I discovered this awesome band! They are worshipped up there! A local dj said I had to absolutely see the Ghost music vid! He said it was heart ♥️ breaking! He was right! Badflower slayed mine! I use to see my friends bands play at the Viper , even right before I moved. I totally would have seen you there! My bff’s man was David Bowie’s publicist. I totally messaged him about you .....when I thought you were a local band from Reno, 😆. But, it looks like you’re doing well already. I tried to win tickets to Acoustic, just to see you & Billie the next day. Anyway- best of luck , so much talent, voice and a back bend that rivals mine😱
I also wanted to add that I loved that you used The Beasties as your intro! Adam owned a film company called Osilliscope. He bought a film my man exec produced in 2011. I got to play mahjong with a Beastie in NY at a party. But enough about me, perfect choice for Badflower!

@@theangelandtheone I think this is a very cool idea and I love it. I'm currently watching everything on that playlist. I'm just sad that there seems to exist only live versions of some songs. For example "My Girl" or "Body Count". 😅 Would love to hear them as "normal" audio-versions.

Josh Katz keeps getting abused by his band, his mother, lover(s), "friends", and many others. And Amanda Mason, too. She kept going after him with Tiffany Lund and the others.
I think that we should stop comparing them to other bands. It must piss them off when they are writing and laying personal shit on paper, to hear "oh, you sound like..." They are what they are. There are similarities in most music. It would be hard writing and not getting that. Badflower are Badflower. Just sit back and appreciate the experience. I am old enough to be their mothers, and I fear that I am beginning to sound like one. Blood pressure's up. better go pop a pill, and hopefully not a hip.
Ok...HS is a good band. But their vocalist isn’t great live. You’re gonna see Badflower get a lot further with a frontman who can sing well and sell it.
