I made a mod for Hearts of Iron 4 where I translated every line of text in through languages with awful translation quality and this is was the cursed result.

funny enough, xibeisanma in Chinese literally means "Three horses in the north west ", the three horses refer to the three warlords in the region who bared the same surname " Ma ", which also means horse

@@typiclyjohny5114 Yes! His last name, Ma (马) literally translates to horse. Ma Bufang and the other members of his clique all share that last name. The name of the faction ingame (Xibei Sanma) refers to the 'Three Ma' who ruled that area in the northwest (Xibei, xi for west bei for north) via their military clique.

YES we get "frog soldiers" in Denmark. More accurately translated would be "Frog men" (frømænd, danish). It's sorta like a marine. So the translation isn't entirely off on that one.

1:56 "Three Horses in the Northwest" makes sense since the Chinese character "Ma" can mean both "horse" as well as be a surname. In this case, the Ma family ruled Northwestern China for almost the entirety of the Warlord era, and there were 3 warlord cliques they ruled over (Ningxia, Gansu, Qinghai) and they were all bunched together in HOI4.

Canonically, HE got divorced twice. First he married Agrippa during Roman times, and got divorced, then re-married in Britain during WW1 and now it seems HE got divorced from that marriage too since HE is looking for a partner.
