Badonkagonk: A Star Wars Podcast - #1 "Hello There" 

Loved this, I want more, I just love seeing more people talking about star wars and their love of the franchise, please do more than just 1 a month this podcast is great!

I'm super glad to see this. I've been a big Star Wars fan for a long time... A long time. I know the Star Wars fandom can get a little negative sometimes, but I just really enjoy watching fans be fans. Hope you guys have a great time running this!

RIP Colin Cantwell. I met him a few years ago in a convention and he was such a sweet, nice guy. He was so instrumental to the success of Star Wars and it's really sad that he seemingly does not get the recognition he deserves, not even a mention during Star Wars Celebration.

If you guys are interested in getting into the extended lore like books & comics. Would love to have some sort of book club situation with the podcast!

This was amazing! It would be cool, if you could change the background for every episode. Like this episode is Tatooine, next is Kamino after that Jakku. I think you get the idea. But again, great podcast. Love to talk about Star Wars.

Nice to see a positive podcast about Star Wars. I feel like the fandom is so toxic whenever something new comes out. EVERYTHING is an "insult" to original Star Wars, it's so tiring to be a fan on the internet.

I really enjoyed this. I'm new to Star Wars and I loved hearing favorite moments and what to look for in the future. I've seen the movies but have just started Clone Wars & even only 2 seasons in, the depth it's provided for the characters is amazing. & am really appreciating the insight and tie ins. Giving me a great map!

You would be wrong. I do not like Star Wars, not really my cup of tea. It's pretty boring to be honest, BUT as I comment quite a few times on this channel. Hearing you guys talk about Star Wars with so much enthusiasm, just makes me want to listen to you guys talk about Star Wars all day long. The excitement is really contagious, makes me want to maybe try watching the movies.

Not a big Star Wars fan but I thought I’d drop in to give some love to my boy Grievous!

This was a phenomenal watch/listen! Being able to hear very involved and detailed conversations about the galaxy far, far away that I only wish I could have with people I know without them being really lost or confused is a treat in of itself. Looking forward to all future installments of Badonkagonk!

The first time I saw the OT was on bits in pieces in the early 90s when SOMEHOW NBC was airing it through the week. My uncle's taped it all on cassette lol but I still didn't think much about it. Then the special editions came out when I was 10 and my mom took me to it and that was it, never looked back. I grew up out in farmland as well, but my grandpa built cedar patio furniture so I helped with that. In the middle of nowhere. So I can relate. When the special editions hit VHS I "borrowed" my friends stepdads copy for a year and a half, and I watched the entire trilogy at least once a day for a full year. '97 - '99 was such a goddamn magical time to be a star wars fan.

This is a great idea! I was raised on Star Wars (I'm 42) but I'm just a casual fan who would love to stand on the shoulders of these 2 great fans and let them do all the work explaining to me all the stuff I don't know or plain don't get. ☺️

Eric, it's the Trillium massacre that Finn mentions to Rey when him, Rey, Han, and Chewie are trying to escape the Rathtars. I will also add that the Second Sister, Trilla Suduri, is my favorite Inquisitor we have met thus far. I do really like Fifth Brother from an aesthetic standpoint. I hope we get more from Sung Kang as him in Kenobi.

In Jedi Knight Dark Forces II, they refer to Jerec as a Dark Jedi. Not an Inquisitor. But then again, you could consider the Inquisitors to be Dark Jedi, because they were once Jedi and later served the Empire. But still, it's never said within the game.

Ahhh jajaja i dont want to be negative in a very positive SW poadcast You guys are awesome But i could not disagree more with Ms Kennedy in her No Direction of Star Wars and Solo comments The recasting was not the issue, not even top 10 issues In fact, personally i dont think there are 10 issues because i actually liked that movie They just dont want to admit it, besides what you mentioned, there was a loooot of people who were not happy with TLJ and decided not go to the next movie It just happened to be Solo

I was in elementary school, and one day while getting out of the car, it was pouring rain. I slipped and sprained my arm when I caught myself on it. So, my father went to the store grabbed ice packs and the entire collection of Star Wars DVDs, and my entire family watched the original trilogy together, a great memory. 8:40 I also watched A New Hope to fall asleep, so I did the same as Aaron. I remember when in my sound editing class, in middle school, my teacher played just the background music, and I realized that I could recite the entire movie. It was on that day that I was forever branded a nerd, and will forever be proud of it. 10:05 I would love to see you guys do another one of those fights, they’re awesome and you guys have definitely gotten better! Make it so! 23:25 Yeah, I cannot help, but care about our merry band of rogue one. Then, I read both Jyn and the Baze and Chirrut books (Rebel Rising and Guardians of the Whills)…. And now I care even more… I can’t imagine what a mess I will be watching it after I see Andor 33:00 Even now, watching Saw come so far from Clone Wars, where we see this reckless, idealistic youth that loses the only family he’s ever had. To his brief appearance in Bad Batch where we see him being the first to stand up and fight against the Empire. To his appearance in the book Rebel Rising where we see his raising then abandonment of Jyn, and his brutal tactics. Which we see again on full display on Rebels. We are clearly still missing a piece of whatever cost him his legs, lungs and faith in his comrades, I do hope to see what happened, but even if we don’t I can imagine… 52:17 *Looks left at Episode VI Poster* Yep.
