Boy, was the prediction wrong. 33 years later, I just watched (June 2022) the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award festivities for Julie Andrews, and she is still very popular not only for her past work but for her current work doing voice-overs. I take that back - very popular is inadequate. She's adored by fans and fellow workers.
A great tribute. It covered Julie's contribution to broadway, cinema, shows, etc. to up to 1989, date of the tribute. As always, Julie Andrews is a great actress, singer, humanitarian, writer, and most of all a wonderful considerate person. Love you, Julie.
