Perfect original patina combined with truly modern RS 'Slammed' SPEC underpinnings makes for one head turning C10!
Phil walks us through the details on this awesome truck - With a 100% original, untouched exterior as our starting point, we used our 'Slammed' SPEC C10 bagged chassis for that 'in the weeds' attitude perfectly complimented by those 20" Forgeline OE1's with vintage caps. A full interior by Avant Garde Design takes advantage of vintage fabrics and modern amenities such as Vintage Air, Dakota Digital gauges and DEI Boom Mat isolation. Driveline consists of a period appearing LS3 motor with 4L60 trans being brought to a halt with Baer Brakes.

Incredible quality and workmanship. Little details like the mini led lights by the air vent and I think a couple by the ac controls? You guys outsource those?

I love that interior. Now I know who to ship my dads 74 Caprice Classic Estate wagon too to have the original green interior updated. Is Roadster Shop going to be looking into creating an “EV” Chassis? No doubt GM is going to have an evolution to their Electric Crate Program beyond the Bolt components. The Hummers complete electric driveline would make a great first project to stick into chassis’s to put under various “Gas” bodies.

Honestly - I'm thinking that is eventually the future of modifying these old vehicles. I think it would be super cool if GM or Ford were to support that electric crate program more thoroughly. While EV's don't satisfy a lot of the things we've grown to know and love from internal combustion engines, they are cool in their own right.

I would love to see you guys build the Ultimate battle Dodge Ram 1500 2014 with a 2021 interior theme to it. I’m talking extreme interior. A battle truck with hidden gun safes. A truck you can drive on the road but, then take it into the mountains, across small creeks, on rough terrain. A bad ass truck you could take out to the gun range. I’m talking the Ultimate battle Zombie Proof truck. One you can also sleep in. I’m talking Coyote brown with army green trim. Places to put guns in the truck beds that have lights and a cover. I’m talking the whole deal. You guys build amazing vehicles. I bet you could do twin trucks and pull it off. Yes twin trucks. Sisters. Two Dodge Rams 1500 battle trucks.

The problem with bags is they always.. always always burst/fail and always leak.. I love the idea of the rubber boot hydraulic for affordable mindset.. but outside of a car show they work for not very long. awesome truck btw

That's not the only bed suspension option to settle and get no bed you could do a cantilever.....take up less room get much more bed and more suspension travel.....🤔 but still a huge fan of the company ✌

Very nice but you guys did a C10 for another customer with conventional suspension and I think it had a LT5 engine, that was a particularly killer truck but this is certainly a very nice ride

Did you run a air tank for the bags on this build? Or only the two compressors shown towards end of video? Ordering a frame and wondering how I’m going to mount air management without a raised bed.
