6 bags that I haven't been using (some for over a year) and why. Should I sell these bags?

I think it’s fine to hold onto bags that you enjoy having (eg for decoration etc) even if you’re not using them. There’s all this pressure to sell now and curate your collection. I think if you don’t want to repurpose the cash and you’re still enjoying the bag in some respect, it’s fine to keep it! Always love seeing your collection, these are all lovely pieces 🩷

Thanks! 🩷 Yeah there are times I feel like it’s the right time to sell something, but I’m not there yet with these bags (aside from one). I have tried to keep my collection to ~10 bags previously but I think it’s safe to say I’ve failed miserably at that 😅

I have two pre-loved *preluxz* that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn’t touch. It’s not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.

I have the same so black Chanel bag and it’s my most used bag as it fits basically every outfit and looks so chic and special. Also bought it last year and I just want to say -Don’t be scared to use it! Mine has survived all kind of weather, even rainstorms. I’ve just wiped it off with baby wipes after getting home. Even if it is lamb skin, this specific one with the pearlescent finish is quite durable. Enjoy 💕

Always find it so helpful to hear what bags don’t work and why! You made a great point about those lady Dior handles. I think they probably made the djoy handles the way they did because of that issue.

I wonder why they don’t update the Lady Dior handles to match the D-Joy ones. Even if they didn’t want to deviate from the original design, they already did that by changing the zipper opening to the flap one.

Here's a fact I know when I visit Bali: they price it higher for foreigners and domestic tourists, but lower for locals (usually tourist spots), so I usually go in *preluxz* Go shopping

I say keep all the bags except the lady Dior. The Dior looks like an old lady bag IMO not sure why it’s popular in the first place 😂 The Chanel mini is so cute u should definitely keep it.

oh i felt the same way about the 19 and got an organizer to help w the slouchy shape - it makes the interior smaller though which can be ok for your needs 😂🤣 def agree that you may have more use for it in the fall and winter w coats

Normally I wouldn’t be concerned either but there’s something extra delicate about the leather on that specific bag. It’s hard to explain without having felt it directly.

I’ve used it a max of 5 times in the 2.5 years I’ve owned it. I can only recall 3 times that I’ve used it, and not in the past year at all.

It doesn’t fit in with my summer style for sure but it has worked in the past in the colder months. The difference is now I’ve almost completely stopped using my big wallet and cosmetic pouch so I don’t have enough to put in the 19 😅 The peekaboo is stunning. My new obsession currently is all things blue 😆
