A Chinese SUV that tries very hard to pretend to be a more expensive car than it really is. Here's the BAIC Beijing 5, which makes its debut in 2024 and is priced at PLN 127,900. For it you get a really interesting car, with equipment on board that many much more expensive models would not be ashamed of. My test of the BAIC Beijing 5 shows exactly what elements are present in this car. I also present the handling, which is specific to this car. The tested model is offered in Poland with only one engine, the 1.5 177 hp gasoline, which is paired with a DCT automatic. My video test tells whether this combination works well in this Chinese SUV. I show the 0-100 km/h acceleration and how the overall dynamics are shaped. I also report what the BAIC Beijing 5 2024's fuel consumption is in the city and on the road, and what its engine culture is like. I also check the build quality, the spaciousness of the rear bench seat, and what the trunk capacity of the Beijing 5 is. I also devote a section of the review to how the LED lights work at night. I invite you to watch a video test of this SUV from China, where I provide information about it and my opinion. BAIC Beijing 5 is a model that is really interesting and well priced, so it is worth getting to know it better.
