Ever since Brooklyn brought Finn home, I knew I WANTED a puppy! It wasn’t until this last year that I finally felt like it was time... since I graduated from Baylor and would now have more time to take care of a dog! What do you think of my cute little Jack Jack??? COMMENT BELOW!

After a longggg time applying and searching for the perfect puppy, my friend Megan Faulkner Brown (@SweetToothFairy on IG) announced that her dog gave birth to a litter of Golden Doodles (ironically it happened on mine and Asa’s dating anniversary!)
It takes about 9 weeks before the puppies are allowed to leave their mama, so we didn’t get him until later in April! He was born in Utah, so Kamri volunteered to pick him up after she finished her semester at BYU and drive the 20 hour car ride back to Dallas to drop him off. I was BEYOND EXCITED to see him. The best part was-when I opened the door to see him for the first time and he was as JUST AS EXCITED as I was!
Once we brought Jack Jack home, it definitely took some adjusting. Crate training is always hard because the puppy will likely whine at night, including Jack Jack. I didn’t sleep for several nights! Besides the restless nights, which are getting fewer and far between, he is the PERFECT PUPPY for us. So smart, cute and snuggly!
