Let me sum up a better story then : A 98 year old Man who fought in WW2 as a kid and served in last days of Germany, he saw the Rise and Fall when he returned he saw no Remains of his family being left, there was no such thing as home left, there was no government left to take the responsibility of a soldiers damage. There was nothing left on his life not even money, He worked as a labourer to rebuild the city once it was rebuild the country no longer needed uneducated and old labour his Country no longer needed him, there were More Young educated Labours thriving in the city. He used to live in the streets often with some food or no food at all, he used to live on a hope that one day he'll see his Mom again just like he saw her before joining the War, Laying on a bench with a face full of scars his cloths all torn up and a empty stomach, He Remembers the Warm memories of his family making him feel like it was just tomorrow as he saw a Convoy of Young German Soldiers, remembering he was one of them ( things I have written aren't based upon facts it's just that i thought it fits the damn story)
I'm so proud that there are still many historical machines like this that are alive and well, even ww1 planes, it's incredible that they can last long with proper maintenance.
Basic military transport vehicles such as trucks probably aren't that much more advanced than those. What's the point of putting airbags or computers in a military truck? Any of the WW2 vehicles can be fitted with GPS and satellite communication systems if needed.
@@capmidnite What's the point of airbags in military trucks? To keep the soldiers inside alive. Army soldiers still get into accidents with military trucks, just like regular civilians.
@@capmidnite Yeah man, pieces of complex mechanical engineering, like Engines, definitely haven't evolved at all in the last 80 years. Certainly no technological advancement in that field. Or things like suspension, transmissions and drivetrains, armor plating, overall reliability, or performance capability. I mean, things like the GMC CCKW and a MaxxPro might as well be exactly the same. Just like a Ford Model T and a Bugatti Chiron, right?
@@seventh-hydra Why don't you read what I said carefully before you go firing off a snarky sarcastic reply. Note I said "basic military transport vehicles." BASIC TRANSPORT. Why are you comparing a cutting-edge armored fighting vehicle to a CCKW? How about an M35 (still used by National Guard) or M39 truck, which a mechanic from 50 years ago can still figure out? Apparently you don't understand body-on-frame vehicles, diesel engines or axle technology, which haven't radically changed in decades.

Imagine that your driving down through these streets then you take a left and all of a sudden you see all of these German and American Vehicles driving past you. I'd be like: What the...
I don't think you will see columns with soviet vehicles marked with red star's. But you will rather see wehraboos with german vehicles, becouse people of europe rly started romantazing nazis. And if i am not mistaken, this was filmed in czech republic, idk if they know what was nazi opinion on slavs.
Interestingly, those SdKfz.s had a V-shaped hull, long before the MRAP concept. It's funny how the Germans figured out the need for sloped armor on cars and half-tracks, but not on tanks.
Early-on, The Germans actually know of the sloped armor concepts, but they didn't think it's worth it at the cost of space and ergonomics which flat armor has a better time providing. But seeing enemy sloped armor in combat and seeing their effectiveness, eventually led to them finally instituting sloped armor on later tanks like panther, King tiger, and many other tank destroyers alike.
The jagdpanther and hetzer are 2 great examples of german late war sloped armor. The Jagdpanther's upper plate is very strong, while the hetzer is a small sized, decently armored TD great for ambushes. If the germans had the panther and hetzer at the beginning, they probably would have taken france much faster. Then again, the design of those tanks were a result of real combat.
@@Kohei536 Hetzer was a defensive type of vehicle, so it wouldn't have been that useful in 1940 France. And as for the panther, that project had no chance of being ready for the French campaign as work started in 1939, meaning vk30.01/02 (as the panther was back then) had no chance of being finished in time. besides, all things considered they actually got france faster than most expected

@Major Filip Kecskés Yes, it`s only a parade but people and especially polititians feel so incredible guilty ins Austria and Germany about the things which happend in WWII. We go here with a huge rucksack of history thugh our live and even the young people feel like that.
@Major Filip Kecskés ,
I bet a few old locals had PTSD seeing all those vehicles lol. Really nice to see these, I use to go to the War and Peace show in England to get all my WW2 re enactments of uniforms and vehicles. 👍👍🍻
Чехию освобождали от нацистов советские войска. В то же время военно-исторический парад: немецкие и американские военные и техника. Придумали новую историю. Круто. Свобода
So many ignorant comments on this post. People dont realize the values of this parade and dont realize they're parading allied vehicles and not just German vehicles. Be mature, these vehicles dont somehow carry evil in them. They're simply relics of history.
That is amazing! I wish they did it more often... I mean I drream of a day when a Panther G and Jagdpanther and german motorcycles, cars, artillery guns and an ME262 on a wagon and troops would go down the city center of a city!
