Schmico is the best ship in the show right now. The way both Levi and Nico evolved in this relationship and became better versions of themselves is just incredibly beautiful. But plz Nico deserves a story of his own.

@@tia4057 October 22, 2021 - Yeah Meredith and Hayes did not work because of Hayes son would have panic attacks every time he knew his dad was going on dates with Meredith or something. I believe what is going to happen is now is, Hayes and Megan Hunt will now get into a relationship. Megan will know how to handle Hayes son and maybe help past his panic attacks because, she was in the military.

I know! There is so much implied history in this brief scene. The reference to the kidney transplant, the way he touches her wrist like he did at the end of 14x17, almost needing that physical connection to her). The fact they don't exchange all the details of their dinner, suggesting they know how to contact each other, and are comfortable doing so. And just seeing Mer smile all the time is nice. She deserves that.

If Amelia had only talked to Link like this, especially after this episode, then so much of the hurt could have been avoided. I mean, she put it so simply and precisely. What was so hard about sitting down with Link and just telling him just like this? Yes, it would hurt, but the hurt may have been less and the healing would have been easier.
because when she told him she didn't want to get married, he left her. i agree amelia should've been more open to him, but i would have given up on trying to tell him anything after he pushed the marriage question so many times because he didn't truly listen, he wanted to change who she was to fit her needs, so it's no wonder she doesn't feel like being open to her anymore
It's literally all he ever did on the show since he joined.. being the wannabe mature and mysterious guy who is supposedly hot(I never saw it..) that dates Levi. He never had any backstory, a storyline of his own and he wasn't even promoted up to attending when even Deluca, who was behind him in residency already was an attending last season. He doesn't have any real importance to the show really.
Best scene of the episode and Mer and Nick at the end, they melt my heart! That was literally the cherry on top. They are absolutely gorgeous together! And crazy about each other! No one has made her smile and glow like this since derek and it even feels even stronger here IMO.
I think maybe the difference is that Nick and her feel like they are meeting on the same level. Derek always felt like he saw himself in the more senior and important traditional male role in the rship - he always put his work desires above meredith’s. With Nick Meredith is now this incredibly respected senior surgeon and I feel like Nick and her feel like equals in a way her and Derek never did

Huge admiration from him and Mer feels the same way, she appreciates that, she learned too that hes from a modest family and hes the only one in his family who went to college.He is brilliant and works in one of the most amazing place in the globe.

Good for Amelia! She evolved so much, standing on her own two feet and not letting any man, however kind or sweet he might be, to bully her into making decisions and choices she doesn't want, just to please him. In the past she would fold and marry him or spiral into addiction again because she needed to be accepted and loved aso much that she preferred betraying herself instead of risking being left. She didn't know there is a choice. Now, she has more love for herself, more compassion, and she knows that she is the one who will have to live with the consequences of these decisions and can recognize her own self worth, that she is worthy of love and appreciation no matter what, even if she doesn't do what others want her to. She is putting herself first!

Oh my god. Mer and nick are so cute together. So much chemistry. She hasn’t had this with any other love interest they’ve thrown at her. Riggs and her bonded over their mutual loss but it wasn’t a deep connection. Her and deluca, I liked him a lot, kinda just happened and then her feelings developed but it felt forced. Her and Hayes seem to have a better friendship than romance. But her and nick. Omg. The smiles. The flirting. The build up. Really reminds of when her derek were going back forth. But without the drama and way more healthy. Lol. I really want them to be endgame.
I love them. They are both brilliant, strong, talented surgeons, but they don't need to compete with each other. They can support each other's work, and each other without feeling like they have to get in each other's way. Plus, hot hot hot chemistry!
They need to focus more on the mentorship aspect for example Helm would be good general surgeon so Meredith or Webber can harness that talent... what's missing is that Meredith group showed what type of surgeon they wanted to be and excsl in it, you don't see it that much from this batch..
Amelia simply does not know what she wants. She wants to get married then she doesn’t, she wants kids then she doesn’t, she wants freedom and still she lives at Meredith house instead of having her own home and boundaries. I know she had a tough life and a LOTS of bagages but I think her couple with with Link could really work BECAUSE he is drama free, because he is strong and trustful. He never judged her for her addictions or attitude and he was there for here and her family when they need it even though he didn’t had to. I think Amelia always finds a way to run from her responsabilities with or without a tumor. She created drame where there is not and she complicates her own existence. Meredith had a rude life, Richard had a rude life and he is alcoholic, Joe had a rude life, Owen had a rude life, etc. They all have bagages but they deal with it and grow up. Amelia has still the same insecurities than when she arrived in GA in season 10 after her former fiancé proposed.
Amelia always knew what she wanted, she's just an insecure person who doesn't trust herself. She never actually wanted to get married, but let herself be convinced that it was the right thing, and it was a disaster. She didn't want kids, but when she unintentionally got pregnant she decided to keep it, maybe because she didn't get the chance to meet and live with her first child and thought that it could still be good. And she does love Scout, it's not like she's a neglective mother. She's just a person who needs a lot of space for herself, but is too afraid to tell people, because then they might not love her anymore, or leave her... and I realize that there's not a lot of people who get that or her, and that's ok, but I love her developement over the last few seasons, because I really felt she came into her own
She never wanted marriage and kids were an iffy,but now she is sure and it's after she has beaten her demons and is growing,this is a steadfast decision albeit a cooky one.
There is nothing wrong with not wanting to be married and being bored with the monotony of life, we all feel like that. She just has the courage to say it out loud and stand up for herself when she is being emotionally manipulated into marriage and a life she clearly does not want.
The problem with her and link is that even though she loves link it's like he is 'too good' if that makes sense. Link has never had the issues and problems that she has had and even though he doesn't judge her I think there is a part of him that doesn't really get her. Amelia always feels like the weak messed up one in her positive relationships. She has never really meshed well with any of her partners. Maybe she wasn't ready to. Drug addiction and the reasons for it don't just go away. Right now Amelia is in a crossroads. She might finally be ready to be on her own again.

Because she’s never really gone (from Amelia’s life at least, they talk, they text, even they don’t show it on the show. Amelia is Henry’s godmother, they are close and forever sisters 😢❤️✨)
I never thought I'd say this but given both Jo and Link single I think they need each other and would be the best things for each other romantically right now
So Addison, only stayed for 2 or 3 episodes after that she leaves again. if i am not mistaken. This season interns i don’t know but they not fit the chemistry with the old characters or they not noticeable in this season episodes of grey’s anatomy. The new intern look all plain and boring to watch. this show is not the same when Christina, Arizona, Callie, Addison, and other main characters left. I don’t know if the show survive once’s Meredith leaves. Or maybe they continue the show but the main characters are new or they start new season give Meredith and Derek, childrens own storyline as main characters.

While yes, she needs to communicate what she said to Addie to Link because he’s hurting and deserves a proper explanation of her feelings, she shouldn’t compromise her desires for her life and risk her sobriety (which is critically important so she can be a good mother and all that she can be) to satisfy Link’s vision of the perfect family unit. They didn’t plan to fall pregnant. While she’s been pregnant before she’d never had the at home life with a baby, let alone adding 3 other kids to the mix. She got a good glimpse into the life of a mother of multiple children and decided she didn’t want any more than Scout. Link did. She thought about getting high constantly. Her sobriety has to be equal first priority in her life along with the son she does have. She’s thinking I can’t give him the life he wants to live because I don’t want that life and it will potentially compromise my sobriety but I don’t want him to have to compromise his dreams just to be together for our child. They might make better friends and coparents. Like she said, he left her. She’s letting him go because she can’t be the wife and mother he wants her to be even though she really does love him.
I actually like Helm the most out of all the residents. I want to see Mer really train since she wants to be like her so badly. I can't stand Schmidt. He's so winy. 😭

Amelia and Link were once on the same page though. Neither wanted Marriage or Kids and then Amelia got pregnant and they chose to keep it BUT that don’t mean that everything else they agreed on changes. They both wanted the same things at first but now Link wants the whole picture and Amelia got a view of the pic and didn’t like it. That’s her right. Her letting him go really is the best thing to do

I think Link should have an accident this season and be about to die for Amelia to really realize that he loves her and wants a life with her. This could happen when he puts the ring back in the store
She knows that he wants it.. she just doesn't share this dream, she explained it multiple times in this episode. She is allowed to have her own wants and needs.

Honestly, I'd rather Dr. Qadri return than Taryn Helm. Helm has not evolved at all in the last seven years within the series while Schmitt has come further than her.
I Love Greys but last season was boring this season is not looking that great either .. a lot of great characters have left and it’s not and will be be the same no matter who they introduce !! Meredith alone is not enough to carry the show !! Grey used to be epic now it’s just not !!! Lucky I have Stan I can relive the glory days
