Seeing crabs crawling all over the place means there can't be Sheepshead too far away. Today, I proved that theory.
Thanks to viewers like you and my Patrons, you will be able to fish these same spots when my rental place is open! I can't wait to share these experiences with folks, not just on RU-vid. But, in person as well. #livingthedream

Hello from a fellow New Yorker...Grew up on Long Island. Family always had a boat. We did lots of fishing , crabbing, clamming etc. . Spent time living in Florida, Georgia and Arizona . Now in California....I do miss Florida. God Bless...

Lance, as a fellow NYer-who also spent time in those same states and just left California, I missed Florida until I found Taganga-lots of fishing, crabbing at an incredibly small fraction of the cost of Cali living.

I wonder how many folk besides me realize just how much trouble you go to to set up cameras at multiple and/or different and forward points then back track, shoot, retrieve; reset, backtrack, shoot, retrieve and sometimes over and over in order to tell us the story that you are so good at telling. Then there is the editing and production. Thanks Zoffinger

Zoff - Good video I like to use a stringer with a short rope to keep my fish on after I land them. I let the stringer with the fish hang off the side of the kayak. I used a 6" piece of the foam swim noddle for the float. You can make them for almost nothing.

OH YEAH... THIS IS WHY I SUBSCRIBED. Your videos hold my attention till the very end. Sure wish you had caught that tarpoon. That could have been a viral moment after seeing the trouble those sheepshead were giving you. Maybe you could do a collab with "Key west kayak fishing". He catches a lot of tarpoon in open waters and the 2 of you together would be epic. Thanks Marty, thumbs up.

In Edgewater Florida when I was a kid we would wade out and fish , manatees would come right up to us. You could pet them they're very gentle. There was also a dolphin down river around mosquito lagoon that was quite smart. He would jump as high as you could hold a fish off the side of the boat. #56
