The paint scheme of the bike. I feel like amber would clash bad with the blue and black setup. Also, you can buy the amber or clear inserts for pretty cheap

I have never heard that, so I don’t think that’s legitimate. But even if it is legitimate, traditionally, amber lights, cut through wet roads and fog and stuff much better than white so, even if it was slightly less power, I’m sure it would appear to illuminate the road even better. That’s why fog lights are traditionally yellow.

Great video, as usual. The price of that kit is not that bad! Question: how hard is it to actually calibrate the light so you don’t blind and incoming traffic?

Yeah, that was my thought exactly which is why I finally pulled the trigger on it. For how bright it is and everything you are getting it’s really not a bad deal at all. And I have not gotten to ride it in traffic or do much experimenting with it more than exactly what you saw in this video, unfortunately. But it doesn’t seem that hard. I would even argue that it’s easier to adjust this one because of the way it adjusts instead of the traditional bucket with the Bolt underneath it. This one is much easier to move and have it stay where you put it and then tighten it up at the very end.

Since having your LP6 have you had an issues with the light. I have had mine for about 2 months and it seems the light pulsates when it’s at low rpm’s with the low/high beam and on the highway with the high beam. It doesn’t do it at stops it mainly does it when I’m letting out the clutch to go from a stop. I bought an actual harness for it though from Banks performance.

What wiring harness are you looking at, is it from them or the normal wiring harness? Because the wiring harness from them that comes in this kid has an extra lead that is ready for a plug and play installation of the light pods

The alternate option is to make it yourself and I don’t have to tools needed to cut that dense of metal. Plus spending money to have it anodized or powder coated

should have removed the side cover and batt cover, would of been much more easy.

I did that on the video. Didn’t remove the battery cover completely but pushed it off to the side. At the end you can literally see my side cover on the ground behind me

Headlight itself is not 1k. The mount and wiring harness added to the light makes the total cost about that high. But it is well worth it

Are you saying your life isn't worth $1000? You can see so much more at night, this light is amazing and I've seen more deer than I ever have with my old light...

100% worry it. Especially if you live in an area like you said with a bunch of animals and deer and stuff. Thankfully, that’s one less issue that I have to worry about being in Florida where I’m at, but this definitely helps people see me better and helps me see people farther away.
