I’m building my 19+ LTZ 6.2 !!!!!! I’m almost there. I got shocks coming in I got LT in the works I got 37’s Racelines and all dudes !!! This video is making want to shit some more money out 🤣🤣🤣
That's a bad ass truck and a bad ass kit. You must be special brother. I orderd my baja kit (complete) 7 moths ago and I'm still waiting for it. Sorry if I sound pissed off. But I guess you have to be a RU-vidr to get noticed. Awesome truck. Bad service by Baja Kit and the "B" Brothers team Thanks for the video
If you are referring to the guy in the video being special because hes able to get the parts without waiting 7 months like you are having to... yes he is because hes one of the owners of BajaKits/Brenthel racing.
@JT Tang I just saw your reply. I got the Kit, installed it (that's why ove been so quiet) . I've been trying to work out all the bugs outta it. I bought the kit thu a vendor of mine in Temecula, CA. It's not easy trying to adjust and get the teader todder outta the new king coilovers. But I have tried contacting baja kits to ask for assistance in dialing it in. I letf a message with my name number and email on the baja kit web site. I'm already in to the kit and coilovers, roughly about 10-12k I can't just not finish the truck. Thanks for the answer I didn't know your one odlf the owners. If you have any website or number send it my way. I need help finishing this project Nando
Are the lower arms paired with the King OEM shocks? I have a mid travel kit on my truck at the moment with king 2.5 OEM extended travel shocks. Not having to buy new coil overs would be nice if I upgraded to this kit @Bajakits
Yes! The prerunner kit is reusing the King OEM Shocks. However, you will need the Prerunner UCA. The Prerunner UCA is longer than the stock width UCA to give you the wider stance
Same man!!! I got the fox 2.5 coilover DSC with the OEM bottom bolts. Don’t want to get new coilovers if I want to go with a LT kit. Was looking at dirt king because I live in SD but I need to get new coilovers for their kit. Saw bajakits and probably gonna go with them!
I got the Baja upper control arm kit for my 2016 Colorado… The install instructions only tell you the torque for the ball joint but was curious the torque specs for the 12 point bolt, and also the 2 pivot upper control arm factory bolts? Is the torque different than a factory spec being the bushing is a delrin bushing and not a factory bushing? Any help would be great the install instructions on the website don’t give too much for torque specs. Thanks
@@WarFighter_FXLRST I mean.. we've used stock trucks to prerun. But I'm talking about the definition of a preruner as people think it is.. and a competitive team will have a preruner built identical in suspension and handling as their race car. To get a true feeling and understanding of the speeds and terrain. Preruning is much more than just checking out the course.. we race class1 jimco car,and we will take the same corner 6-7 times over n over.. look for a shorter line than going around a hill.. hitting sections over n over to find a good speed for that section etc etc
@@anthonyolsen9299 it’s definitely a prerunner by any definition I’ve seen. I mean just because it’s not linked in the back doesn’t disqualify it from the term prerunner. Matt Helton raced his total chaos Toyota on leaf springs.
@@WarFighter_FXLRST it's a kit truck.. a fun offroad'able vehicle. I have one also. I actually daily drive it.. kit trucks are the new generation "4wheel parts" trucks. I have a full race truck that I use as a preruner and play toy.. I have a kit truck that I drive on the street.. a stock truck is a preruner too if you choose to do so.. a actual preruner should be setup just like your race vehicle, same characteristics. Kit trucks arnt ment to be prerunners or race trucks.. in a stick like class yes it's possible. These kit companies selling kits and calling them " preruner kit...race kit etc, it's gimmick.. selling to the masses of uneducated people. Who otherwise would be buying junk from 4wheel parts and offroad warehouse type stuff.
@@WarFighter_FXLRST ya.. there are leaf spring classes sooooo??? It's been that way since the 70's. I've raced leaf spring trucks. That matters none.. but people are buying bolt on suspension kits and think they have something great.. it's not. I have a bolt on kit truck,,with a custom in bed cantilever shock setup custom hand maid with leaf packs. I drive on street.. it is what it is.. it still won't last doing real preruner shit or live racing big races.. they are limited trucks.. I race a jimco class1 car with full team n pit support.. I build offroad trucks of various types for different customers also. I've been racing and playing for 23yrs now.. I actually started my career as a kid in the Ford rough riders team.
