WOW!!! This would be a great snack for people like me who struggles with diabeties. I have also just had heart bypass done in January so I;m thinking about that also. Thank you for sharing. I think I am going to like you just fine, from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
I ve made these, and they are delicious. My son who hates cauliflower ate and enjoyed these. And asked me to make them another night ! I call that a great success .
My kids love Buffalo chicken Wings.. so I tried this for a healthy version and would you believe they loved it and actually asked me to make again. So Moms give it a try with kids too.
Steamfresh makes these and I love them. The salt&vinegar potatoes and sriracha green beans are also good. They have more, just haven't tried them yet. Really good for being frozen food(no batter, you steam the bag)
Thank you for the recipe, I tried it today but I boiled the Cauliflower in water and salt for few minutes, and after dipping it in the flour patter, I deep fried them. They came out really good.
I just made and ate this tonight, it was delicious! The only slight problem I had was that my batter was a bit thin, using the amount of water you specified. My cauliflower did stick a lot to my baking tray and I missed out on some of the crispy bits because of that. But all in all a delicious result. I'll know to use a bit less water next time. Will definitely make again. Thanks so much for sharing. Best wishes from London UK xxx
Omg awesome can't wait to try it.you should try it with a cauliflower patty (just cut the head in half and slice it in slices) and get a bun and add whatever toppings and condiments and pile it up. I'm a vegetarian so I've did it before but never made the bites like this. But on the burger I used ranch, with lettuce, onion, tomato with baked homemade fries . You should do that as a clean & delicious version for a lunch or light dinner.
That's yum 😋. On the flour - a combination of chickpea and any kind of rice flours usually work great for me for similar recipes. You can also add a couple tbsp. corn starch for a super crunchy bite
G’day from Australia! My name is Terry Anderson. We have lots of cauliflower growing in our garden right now so I was looking for something different to do with them. So thank you very much for going to the trouble of making that video and we will definitely make your recipe very soon. One thing I noted. I really like the fact that you credited the original authors of the recipe and put your own slant on it, very honourable and I really like that. And for that reason alone I’m very happy to subscribe to your channel.
I love recipes like this that are 'accidently' vegan! Cauliflower has a very neutral taste and works well, but I think broccoli would be terrible personally.
Gonna try this, sounds awesome! I am from North Alabama. I have a great side item when grilling out called grilled polenta with parmesan cheese and cayenne pepper.
for anyone asking DO NOT TRY WITH COCONUT FLOUR !! i wish someone told me before. instead of a pancake consistency the coconut flour makes the batter it become very fluffy and light (the opposite of what we want)
@@donnamccullough1375 Just made this with almond flour. The taste is good but the batter doesn't crisp. Perhaps I put too much.... But it was good. Not a disaster at all.
Love this recipe but I put panko and nutritional yeast, also. Great recipe my hubby is vegetable impaired but liked this lol. Thanks trying to incorporate more veggies for Joe aka Guiseppe when he won't eat his veggies.
I'm thinking if you added a bit of cornstarch in place of a little of the flour it might be crispier all over. I am going to try this recipe. Looks yummy!
As per My best knowledge, There is no such thing as white wheat or red wheat. Both flours come from the same brown/red color wheat. The only difference is red flour is not a fine powder and have more fibers and grainy texture compaire to white flour which is unhealthy in compair to red flour. You are right about the white fine flour would give the crispy texture. like your recipe. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thank you so much for this tasty cauliflower recipe. I don't really like cauliflower but I made this recipe and ate the whole pan by myself. It was really good. Cauliflower is now my new best friend.
Gun for hire. Just keep going and the healthy will come. I live in a town with a high rate of diabetes, heart disease, obesity and people watching sports not playing sports. Just keep at it because eating habits are as hard to change as drinking habits.
The butter adds flavor, and tames the Franks Red Hot. So the more butter you use, the less HOT they will be, but you’ll still have that great Franks flavor. I think I’ll try these with some oat flour. :)
watching this just now. In India we have cauliflower pakora. It uses chickpea flour (besan). Its gluten free and has a delicious nutty flavor. Could be baked or fried. I think that would be a great combination with the buffalo sauce. Will definitely try this. Thanks for the recipe.
Hmmm... interesting concept. I'm gonna try Frank's RedHot buffalo wing sauce instead, for this recipé. I love cauliflower and I can eat it the way most people eat potato chips.
