Thank you for the comparison test. I'll never bake potatoes wrapped in foil Again! Great Info!!! ✓ Also, THANK YOU for providing the correct internal temp (of 210°) for a baked potato! ⭐ 📌 So glade you mentioned using a "food thermometer" 🌡️ Since I began using one, everything tastes so much better when cooked to the right temperature! 🌡️ I am going to try baking potatoes in the Air Fryer next time! 🥔 Yes, I wash my chicken. 🐓🚿🫧 ☑️ Yes, I'm still voting for you as "My Favorite Chef!" 🏆
I like both ways! if I want something really soft and fluffy, I'll use foil. It creates a dry fluff vs. boiling which is a wet fluff you know?? It's also good for kids and older folks who need something a lil less tough. If I'm looking for crisp and crunch - gotta bake it naked! But it is a tougher skin (kind of like a potato skin/baked potato hybrid). Both are good! Can't go wrong with a spud lmao.
Have you ever used a aluminum potato "nail" ? U put the nail in the tater before cooking the tater wrap in aluminum foil or not ur option & put in a hot grill for about 45 min to 1 hr & done
It is one of those things people are taught which are just wrong, you wash vegetables and fruits. You do not wash chicken or other meat. You are spreading bacteria and adding more when you wash meat. Meat does not need to be washed. You're just letting all the bacteria in the meat flow everywhere in the water, and bounce off onto other surfaces. Only the US thinks they should wash chicken, the rest of the world doesn't. Restaurants do not.
