My secret potato salad recipe is you substitute half the mayo you'd normally use, with sour cream, and then add an entire bunch of chopped green onions and just a little yellow mustard. It ends up tasting like sour cream and chives potato salad. You can add tiny bits of chopped celery for crunch and chopped boiled eggs, too, but honestly, it doesn't need them.
