Baken-ets Hot and Spicy Fried Pork Rinds.
Zero carbs, zero trans fat, no additives, no MSG. Should have no glycemic effect at all. And no Omega 6 problem since presumably, they are toasted in saturated fat similar to bacon grease. Also, gluten-free, dairy-free, and legume-free (unlike most protein bars).
What do people think about this? This was the only brand of pork rinds I was able to find in stores. The only knock on them seems to be that they're somewhat "processed" becaue they're fried. But not too expensive at $2 per bag (compare this to Quest Bars at $2 per bar).
Sounds too good to be true, almost. Quickly finished 2 bags in one setting. They induce satiety but I didn't realize how many calories I consumed. Serving size is 9 pieces for 80 calories and there're 8 in a bag, so that's 640 kcals per bag! I finished 1,300 calories in an hour.
