I used to eat the El Charrito Beef Enchiladas Dinners and they were delicious! However, they’re much better if cooked in the regular oven (not microwave)! I’m unable to find them now in any of the Grocery stores in Austin Tx. 🤷🏽
Do They Make These Anymore? They Haven't Been In Walmart Or Any Store In Years Now. Have They Went Out Of Business? I Used To Get These All The Time. They Were My Favorite Enchilada Dinners.
There was a guy where I use to work that would bring chili in once in a while in an old Nesco style roaster. It was some of the best chili. I asked him his secret and he said most people brown the ground beef and then put the meat in a pot of water and then add the chili powder. He said what he does is brown the beef and add the chili powder into the meat while it is browning. I have done this method for taco meat and it turns out excellent.
The first time I ate these wings back in the mid-80's, I was hooked. I couldn't believe how good they were. I bought a single-serve package to eat for lunch. I ate them regularly after this first purchase. I would dip them in ranch dressing sometimes, but they didn't really need it. Sometime around 2002, I bought a pack of them. When I opened the package, I immediately noticed a change in the color of the wings. The typical orange-red color that I was accustomed to seeing was different. The color was more red now than orange. My first thought was -- They didn’t change the recipe, did they? Well it turned out that they did. The flavor was more vinegary than it used to be. I was so disappointed. I was hoping it was a fluke, and that they hadn't actually messed with their unbeatable flavoring. But after a couple more purchases, the flavor was still the new recipe. I have not bought a package again. I sure do miss these wings. Almost every time I walk by the frozen section of a supermarket, I think of these suckers. Guess I will check em out again. It has been a while. One can hope ... In regards to the smell of the wings as they are cooking, I do recall the odor being less than pleasant. Your score of a 4 ... 4 out of 10 ? 5 ? Obviously it must be based on a scale of 1 to 10, but you should mention that when you give the score. I may have missed you saying earlier in the video what scale you are using, but it is an oversight to not mention the full rating when you state score that you give.
This is the BEST midnight snack on the planet. I love having lots of GAS in the middle of the night and they're best with Pace Picante sauce. This is a sure fire way to keep your partner off of you while sleeping. I have constant gas while sleeping which is good.
Why does it have too much sodium isn't that bad? They should stop putting too much garbage on a can of Beeforani I bought a 4 pack I do have allergies hopefully it doesn't make me sick.
It's good stuff man. Been awhile since I made some....been thinking of doing up some jars soon. So easy. Next sterilize your jars in the oven @225°F for a minimum of ten minutes...much easier and you can prep way more without all of the steam and the heat associated with it during canning season.
You ate the whole can? Take it easy there man, you must have steel diamond tipped teeth. Good point the beans explode in the microwave, before they explode inside your digestive system.
I been craving these cheez waffies and would buy them every once in awhile but I noticed for the past several years I can’t find them I even checked Amazon and nothing. I grew up in the 70s and my favorite candy bar was called the watchmacallit I know I didn’t spell that right but these candy bars were huge with a peanut butter rice crispy deliciousness now there much smaller with a layer of caramel I don’t know why they change a good thing another thing they stopped selling is Fab laundry detergent can’t find it anywhere 🤔 it’s the little things in life. But oh how I miss those cheez waffies
I sure remember these pizzas ate them all thru the 80's and 90's used to also be a similar one called Jenos pizza in a yellow box, they are good even though they are cheap
