Thank Goodness! A You-Tuber that gets right to it! Not 3 mins of “me/I” talk and then more “like, comment, or subscribe” before I get to hear the information! Thank You!
So glad you enjoyed that’s exactly how I try to edit my videos so I’m glad that you like that style everybody’s time is precious and you just want to learn how to do the technique so I just got right to the point
Our Upcycled Life, You're brilliant! I tried this recipe last night. The results are noteworthy as I love the terracotta appeal. Also, I applied a clear protective enamel w/o any issues. Thank you!
I keep buying supplies but not done anything yet. Watching a lot of videos though. I like the water method on the vinyl sheet. Will also look at your napkin printing. Besides retiring rural and not much access to some supplies I also can’t invest a lot of money. My first passion is sewing and I do sell some of those at small artisan market. Thanks for showing this method!
I’m going to try this one too. I wonder if I used a sponge for the last coat, when painting anything , if it would avoid paint strokes? Am I getting them because I’m using too much or too little paint?
thank you so much. it’s really close to x-mas and i haven’t been able to find any chalk paint available to order on time to complete my projects. . . i’m handicapped and home bound so can’t get to stores. your tutorial has really, really helped me out. happy holidays ❤️🎄☃️🎄❤️
Hello, I found you on RU-vid, today October 30,2021. You have such amazing ideas. I’m so elated to have found you! Love the chalk painting ideas, I’ve always purchased the chalk paint, which can get extremely expensive. So I’m binging your videos. I have several mason jars that I am going to paint. So know I’m looking for a video on decoupage from you. Happy crafting, Brenda Capurso🤩
You did an AWESOME JOB!!!! I haven't tried Baking Soda and Paint with Stencil yet, but I'm gonna try it in the near future!!!! Thanks for your help!!!!
So, you printed onto a white napkin? I’m trying to visualize how a napkin would go through a printer? Did you open the napkin up before running it through? Thank you for showing us how you got that wet napkin onto the jar. Really ingenious. 👏👏👏👏🥰
I have a full tutorial on my channel on how to make custom napkins you use one ply and tape it to a piece of computer paper and then put it through your printer and you can have custom made graphics on your napkins
Love this thank you, now wondering if I can use this paint on a 3D pen art project will be making something later like a smal shelf for all my inks..lol ty
Yo la hago igual. Para finalizar le doy unas manos de barniz sobre todo si utilizo algún color obscuro, puesto que con la humedad tienden a salir manchas blanquecinas. Un saludo 😊
Thanks for the recipe. How should the finished product be treated afterwards? Does the surface tolerate water, cleaning or dusting? I like the look but don't want to unknowingly wreck it. Would they withstand rain, sun and weather? 😊☀️
Is it true that the baking soda changes the chemicals in the paint in some way? And if you were to paint over it, the colors will bleed together? Also there might be some moisture issues later on? I only read about this and have not experimented yet.
I used smaller paint brushes but I'm having a hard time getting my paint brushes clean after using this mixture. I've tried paint thinner but no luck. So what do you use to clean your paint brushes with?
Hi. what type printer have you found works best for printing onto plain white napkins? i.e. inkjet, laser, the local Kinko's type shop? I need to find the article, it discussed the pro's and con's of type of using toner machines for decoupage projects. thanks!
@@OurUpcycledLife I tried this yesterday and it worked! I was worried at first, because it was shiny but it dried matte, textured and beautiful. It is for a large textured art piece for my home. I am going to upload the project to my YT in just a couple days! I will be sure to link your video
Thanks for watching ❤️ any poly acrylic sealer that is water based will work well. If making projects for outside make sure you buy the outdoor version 🌸
I have plaster of Paris on hand but I thought how am I going to measure that out, I only want 2oz of it! Oh, well hello baking soda nice to see you. Thank you!
