In this video, I'll share my tips & tricks for baking with coconut flour! Coconut flour was probably the biggest "keto baking" challenge I had to overcome in order to figure out baked goods that turn out great every time. Now--if you live in a high altitude area, there are some additional modifications you'll need to make. If this is you-- please comment or email me! I need someone who lives in a high altitude area to do some testing for me. :-)
Thank you so much for sharing this information! I’ve shifted to low carb and use a lot of almond flour for baked goods but would like to branch out and incorporate different flours. This was hugely helpful!
Thank you so much!! I keep having issues with the consistency of my muffins being too wet and spongey and you are the first to talk about it! To many eggs or not enough coconut flour! I’m so excited to get back to baking because this was causing me stress and I was having to throw away so much of my baking because of it. It breaks my heart to waste food. I will definitely use your Chanel as a guide next time I bake. Thanks so much for sharing❤️
Today was my first day baking bread and I really hit a storm when I chose to make coconut bread , I never made white traditional bread !! So when I took it out of the oven, it looked flat, after cooling and slicing it, it was thick, but still edible I guess !! I always heard that coconut flour is healthy !! Thanks for science of coconut flour explaining, that it doesn’t rise much !! I don’t feel so bad !! I see you didn’t use yeast !! Not sure if I want to weigh it !! But enjoyed your video !! It’s a big learning experience for me !! I used 1 cup of each flour - coconut , whole wheat and white flour !! Plus ingredients !! Thanks so much !!! Norman.
Glad I found this video series. I failed with my first attempt baking with coconut flour and have it stored away in my freezer. Now I understand what I did wrong. I tried to use like regular flour and definitly did not use the right amount of eggs! Thank you for putting me on the correct path.
Thank you so much I just bought coconut flour for the first time I’m gluten and dairy sensitive my body hurt all the time with inflammation thank for all the tips
Now I wont feel so bad paying ~9$ a bag for coconut flour since the yield is ~4X that of regular flour. That small (compared to regular flour) bag goes so far. Thanks for the general tips, I can't wait to cook coconut pancakes!

I have a regular recipe for pumpkin muffins and would like to make a keto coconut sub . For regular recipe I use i 15 oz can pure pumpkin 1/2 C oil, 1/2 C applesause. 3 eggs , 3 cups regular flour, 1 1/2 sugar. baking soda 1/4 and baking powder 1 TBS, 1 TBS pumpkin pie spice
Thanks So much for the tips! First time I tried using coconut flour it EXPLODED! Total disaster! Does presoaking work? Adding a couple of tablespoons to a recipe as flavoring? The ratio you gave makes a lot of sense, it inspires me to experiment. 🙂Good video!
Newbie here..... week 3 of Keto trying to keep the carbs down---I suppose I am what some label "Dirty" Keto (???) Trying this first month to focus on deleting sugar from my life...and lowering the carb intake...Hoping once I have that under my belt then I can get with the "Macro" thing...and recipe thing....lost a good 10# first two weeks but now I am plateaued....so trying to re-examine all the secret places those routine carbs are hiding...or if I missed something on sugar or something on Bacis Keto---thank you for your videos!
Great video! Thank you! I'm happy to having found your channel, since I'm always trying to use coconut flour as much as I can and leave the "nuts" for snacking while on the road. This way we make our diet more diverse! Happy Eastern and cheers from Germany! ; )
thank you so much for your videos. I made some garlic dinner rolls with coconut flour for last thanksgiving and I used sour cream for extra liquid and they were fantastic even all the non keto people loved them I wish I made more I didn't think anyone who wasn't keto would eat them , boy was I wrong.
I’m trying to make butter ball snow ball cookies. With only vinella extract, flour, sugar, and butter...how do I use coconut flour in this? Or should I just use almond flour?

Hi Tara!! I made a blueberry cobbler last night with coconut flour and it came out like beach sand. Is there truly no way to make a more dense cobbler with coconut flour? Should I have added some other hardeners of some kind? Thanks
Tara, nice video, but, you don't mention anything about avoiding or minimizing saturated fats if a person suffers from high blood pressure or had a stroke. This caution should be front & center.
You don't like the music? This was a controversial topic with my test group, but the majority liked the music. If anyone else is reading this comment, I would love your feedback! Keep the music or get rid of it?
@@TarasKetoKitchen I don't hate the music, but I maxed out the volume on my computer and still had trouble hearing you. I think the lack of music might help that. It is a little distracting though.
