When you have a Filipino mom it's always their way of showing toughness to their kids. When I asked my mom she always answered. "I just want you to have strength and not being put down by words.." To them the act of nagging every single day is a psychosocial training (like having a literal commander on your household)

I only live with my grandma, she yells a lot and tells me I'm dumb and all even though I help her A LOT around the house. She even kept on forcing me to spell 16, 483 pesos in words like nasa 12th grade na po ako... And she'd tell her sons and my dad who are overseas that I'm useless. My grades are above average and I'm just dumb for her. I'm torn between I'm just "over reacting" or being way "too sensitive". I frequently cry and I'm on the brink of killing myself. It's hard to force myself to be "tough". I can't keep up with her, I'm too soft

Filipino Moms tend to yell a lot when their kids doesn't focus on their assigned tasks and just make "WALWAL" most of the time. We want our kids to learn and sometimes we need to show some tough love even if we don't want to. I can see that your mom is a very loving and generous person. You're so lucky to have her. 👌🙏😊🇵🇭

Mother’s is the truest friend we have, sometimes they’re sweet then suddenly mad as they can be “carinong brutal” just like mudra to you, but deep inside she truly love you just like you are to her a very special one for you are her only son.you’re so funny about that stretch tite. I do the same thing as your mom when I get frustrated, I rub my face! You can tell that your mom gets things done in the household and likes things done quickly and efficiently. It’s also thoughtful of her to wrap up the mattress for the next person and keep it covered in case it rains.

Wil, I would love to see a “love story” video of Mudra and Pudra. I’m sure their story was interesting especially since Mudra’s back story as a young woman (who left PI at a young age, all in her own) was so special as well!
