Yes for maintaining! Also I agree teaching kids to clean takes so much effort as a parent, but I am hoping it pays off in the end 😊 thanks for sharing!

I can also see the difference between mess and dirt!!! We don’t do chores but I expect my kids to do some chores even tho we don’t do assigned chores. We do tidying up wen we’ve finished stuff like homeschool and playing. We have a space 4 everything as well!!! I don’t iron as my dryer as a iron setting. I don’t miss it.

Very helpful! I like your idea of chores before school, I might try that as it definitely doesn't get done on the afternoons. We also do a 4 day school week with Wednesdays being co-op or nature walks.

I strongly dislike cooking. Everything about it, even the meal planning. And I'm like you, when my kids or husband dislike something I have made, it's very discouraging!

Love the bit about not comparing to yourself about people on RU-vid or Instagram. Thanks for saying that! I honestly watch some of these videos and think how are you just cleaning an already clean home? Like I thought you had 2-3 kids like me haha. It's just not realistic alot of the time.

Oh, I can assure you that my house is messy 90% of the day AT LEAST. It's happy mess most of the time though. :)
