hey youre not alone, i recently started making geometry dash levels (and a gameplay video to go alongside them) again, and the comment sections across both my yt and in the level comments are filled with 9yearolds asking stupid questions its kind of glorious honestly
To all the kids here, hes not playing, its the visualizer, and he did not make this, he ripped the MIDI from the game, for more information, read the dang comments of other smart people and desc for who composed it, Thank you.
The midi is not mine, I ripped it from the game files. Unfortunately, I would have to fully recreate the demo version because in the files it is a .wav file and not a .midi file. I could recreate it eventually, but maybe someone else will do it before me.
@@what-fw5vk The demo version is never used in game (except for an easter egg music room), so it would make more sense to save it as a .wav file instead of a .midi file.
The midi was ripped from the game. That's why it was accurate... Also, the tracks are separate, it's just the MIDI player combines the tracks into notes.
about the tracks: you cant use multiple instruments in 1 track, unless you put a lot of program change events also i use domino to make midis, you should check it out
This sounds pretty great! Although when i try to open the midi file, every single instrument gets loaded in a single track after the drop. Is this a general issue or...?
Depends on what you open it with, because this MIDI has a lot of channels. I know that in FLStudio it does this, but in Windows Media Player, it doesn't. Not really anything I can do about it.
I used a software called AssetRipper and found something called "Boss" in the "TextAssets" folder. I exported it and renamed the .bytes extension to .midi, then opened it.
If you put this at 0.25x speed it will sound like school house trouble remixed with a different song which makes it 100% better (the 0.25x is fake. I made that 1 year ago.) but if you put this at 2x sped it sounds fire Edit: which speed do you like best? 0.25x 2x or normal speed? Edit2: I like 2x because it’s kinda like better but 0.25x is kinda good
Unfortunately, I would have to fully recreate the demo version because in the files it is a .wav file and not a .midi file. I could recreate it eventually, but maybe someone else will do it before me.
Just the default windows midi sounds, funnily enough if you just play the .midi file trough windows media player it’ll sound exactly the same as the original
i can't figure out for the life of me what the 2 "honk" noises are in the bg at 0:26 (rightmost yellow notes) are called. it's used in a few different baldi tracks, and i'd love to know what they're called
Ok yall I get it, 9 year olds are thinking that he played this but I just wanna say, I am 10 and I already knew that this was not him playing bc it literally is and looks impossible
