If someone is curious - "Weave" scene is SO MUCH easier to trigger now with patch 7. You don't have to follow tutorials on reddit any more! Yay! If I am correct, all you have to do is just give artefact to Gale and keep his approval very high. It worked for me :) Weave scene hasnt changed much, maybe it is a little bit bugged (camera is clipping into tent, for example) and they disabled some audio effects.
it is a pity there is no real romance like with Alistair or Cullen in Dragon Age. I dont know what is this supposed to be. They spend the night together and then reveal some baggage from the past. Same with Astarion, same with Wyll. No romantic love for my female character.... oh well.
Yeah, I agree. Maybe romances will have more meaning and depth later in the game, because they look very cheap now, compared to what we have in Mass Effect, or Dragon Age. I love Baldur’s Gate 3 and I have high hopes for this game, so I hope the romances look like this right now because it’s Early Access and they wanted to show us something before the game was released. With Gale, you may feel that the character is a bit emotionally attached, but talking about your ex after a night out together... totally out of place for the beginning of the game or relationship. There is only physical attachment to Astarion, which is a bit unsatisfying at the moment considering his nature and the fact that he would go to bed with anyone, whether or not this person is important to him.
@@Disguiserro Yeah, the romances seem very shallow to me, at the moment. Beautiful animations but the dialogues are somewhat cold and unfriendly :( I understand it is not a priority in an rpg game but still, it helps create the atmosphere. And not just the romances, the overall feeling of friendship between the companions - like Minsc would say - camaraderie - I dont see it in the game. They are just a group of individuals, each following their own goal and it doesnt change even after finishing the first Act, they still feel like strangers. Maybe I expected more from it than I should. Or maybe it will change when my character will actually have a voice and the dialogues will feel more real. I dont know, I have mixed feelings since they launched the Early Access, I do love the combat mechanics and music but there is something missing. I guess I need to realize it is different type of game than Dragon Age or Mass Effect.
I have a feeling the "romances" were more feeding off the excitement of the party. But yeah, it is a bit odd that Gale instantly talks about his ex. Could be an actual red flag though especially due to the fact that the game mentions that with a dialogue option
As far as I undestand it this is not a romance but just a hook-up. Romance just isn't in the game yet. I assume that will be content for act 2 or act 3. Remember the game is still in early access.
