Game is completely bugged as far as character interactions go, literally all character on my team are bugged and Karlach has ! Permanently for no reason.
@@wykydytron In a game as enormous as this one, there will be plenty of bugs. My experience has been great, with any bugs like exclamation marks not mattering at all.
Disco Elysium (without spoilers of course) has a character moment near the end, where a certain VERY IMPORTANT die roll is given a bonus if "this character trusts you" but an even BIGGER bonus if "this character REALLY trusts you". Unfortunately I can't say more without giving it away but needless to say it is a fantastic moment when it occurs.
saying "I wish nothing more than to cut you up and eat you raw" is hilarious since she answers something along the lines of "you're even flirting with me in that state, jesus"
If you do some of the dialogue rather than resist the dark urge she says “now now, flirting with me won’t get you out of this”. Shadow heart is such a badass and it’s subtle how much so.nothing about her is loud
>be me >totallynotspawn of Bhaal, The Lord of Murder, God of Bloodshed, King of Serial Killing >explicitly tell every single person in my party that I have unexplainable, unspeakably depraved, borderline philiac thoughts of wanton slaughter and death >they tell me "Chin up old chap, we all get mad every now and then, as long as you don't act on it, it's all good!" >cute bard comes to camp and says she's excited to travel with me >go to sleep, dream of gore and heinous massacre like a wet dream >ohno.jpg >wake up covered in the blood and guts of said cute bard >visceracleanupdetail.exe >freaking the fuck out, desperately try to explain myself to my party >"Well shucks! It seems you DO indeed have some pretty saucy thoughts old bean, sounds like a skill issue to be honest! Mayhaps have you tried not thinking bad thoughts?" >commit suicide The way they portrayed mental illness exactly as it is in real life is astonishing.
So, fun story, I went back to one of my quicksaves to see what would happen if I just give in and kill Shadowheart... well, in the cutscene she dies but then the morning after, she's alive again with 6HP. She even rolls initiative. I'm guessing that's a bug.
He's a fiend, he doesn't even have a humanlike mind. His worldview is oriented entirely around ushering in the reign of the Lord of Murder, who very probably created him from whole cloth for that purpose.
I don’t much care for her here at least. I feel like she is judging super harshly. Karlach on the other hand is sweet and supportive. In fact, its odd because afterward she doesn’t offer to assist, but rather to support. She says something along the lines of “i’ll watch myself and you watch yourself, if we both do our jobs, we’ll be okay” I like this much more because she understands that there is nothing that she can physically do to help, she just has to guide the path and help us to navigate it.
@@mr.t0xic100i disagree. I dont see her being judgy but rather trying to make light of an otherwise dire situation. Her humor is dry and she is more direct than karlach is but it is more than apparent that SH does care and is determined to help you no matter what. Granted, ill agree Karlach is more delicate about the situation and is more polite about it but honestly id rather have SH be direct and headstrong in something like this because at least i can be sure she is ready for anything and is willing to do whatever necessary should the worst happen. Her also reaffriming that should you need anything that you can reach out to her and also reaffirming that she believes in you tells me she cares about you even if her words are a bit more blunt
i saw the first eso episode of the game and didnt like shadowheart i get the game and i end up romancing her and doing every thing to get more dialogue out of her i was mistaken shadowheart best girl
i was romancing minthara with my durge playthrough, the main reason i didnt kill isobel because minthara disapproves, and i still got shart in this scene, its probably the companion with highest approval rating
You don't need to get to act 3 to get white hair Shadowheart. She will tell you she has a surprise for you or something after you release nightsong and kill ketheric. Just take a couple long rests after that and she will get her white hair even if you're not in act 3.
It’s my head cannon that it’s a sudo side effect of the Tadpoles in the party’s brains making bonds of trust within that much easier although it doesn’t explain it fully with the fact that both of the un infected members also do the same but you can also mark that up as Tadpole Telepathic fucky wuckys or they’re just that willing to overlook that flaw in you since you did the impossible when it came to the Goblin Camp and Shadow Curse.
it's arguably the most heroic way to play, as everyone expects you to be a terrible monster, and you WANT to be a terrible monster, but you can fight it every step of the way and come out doing the right thing just about every time. It's a very unique playthrough
If anything the fark urge fits right in with the group. Almost every companion (particularly the starting 5) has their dirty little secret affliction. Its fitting that the pc has one too.
U still should’ve gotten this scene. I didn’t kill Isobel either and still got this but I mean I think ur supposed to get this scene before meeting Isobel. Maybe try to progress through Act 2
@@Humberd01 I think you can activate it in character creation. You will trigger some events where you desperately want to kill someone :D After i finshed the game i will start a new playthrough with this trait, will be fun i suppose
To be fair this will be the first thing I mod for a modded playthrough. Capping it at 4 was kind of silly IMO. I guess being able to bank it too much would mean you could target any single roll and be basically guaranteed to pass it by blowing 7 inspo's or whatever, but.. 4 rerolls would already basically be a guaranteed pass. It just felt like I was being penalized for not constantly blowing inspo on stuff I didn't actually care to reroll.
The problem with this whole scene is that it's sprung upon you and if you fail you have no option but to murder your whole camp. For me this was next to impossible so it got really frustrating.
Late to the party lol but you get this scene AFTER meeting Isobel and sparing her. I JUST got this scene but it was a bit different as the player in the vid spared Nightsong as well, I haven't yet so it doesn't have to be at the end of act 2 only.
All the Warlock, Witches, Wizards, Sorcerer's, Clerics etc roving about the land, there's probably dozens of anti mosquito spells by now, they're probably an endangered species at this point.
seeing only one minute of this makes me realize... I will definitely do a second playthrough after getting through this... maybe that time not even killing off La... La... what ever the heck the name of the green thing is... god I hated her... nevermind she will die as soon as the game lets me in EVERY Playthrough... you can not trust a Githyanki...
@@i9incherSeconded, Lae'zel is not necessarily my favorite character but I think she might have the best arc. Shadowheart also had a great arc though, hard to pick.
@@lucifermorningstar8387i agree. She either died, left on her own, or was left by me, but on my 5th playthrough, i decided to keep her around, and boi. Her story was interesting and satisfying to experience. Lae'zel suffers from being unlikeable without her development, and her quest line being a stupid and risky call, if you're immersed with the story. I think it would have helped her, if they made the artefact more suspicious, but it is made very clear before reaching the creche, that it's the only thing preventing us from either becoming true soul slaves or mind flayers, so who in their right mind would want to waltz into the lair of a bunch fey with a superiority complex, who've shown they have no issues killing one of their own, for simply the suspicion of having the thing they want, not to mention as a party of 4. If this was a dnd session, this would be the finest example of an earned TPK , if i've ever seen one.
Lae’zel is one of the best characters to play with and romance. I alternate between her and Shadowheart. Jaheria is also fun to have in your team….my other fav is Mizora
I never get to witness this scene because i always kill Isobel because her arrogance. God, i hate her as much as that flying elephant in Act 3, Valeria.
would be incredible game if they didnt ruin it with fucking woke themes. Like using the word "person" all the time for no reason. Woke virus must be cured.
imagine being a loser bothered by the game using the word person. does it bother you that much? you gonna cry? lmao. Maybe go outside, bask in the sun for a little, touch grass, get a hobby that isnt getting triggered by the make believe "boogeyman" thats "woke culture".
Whats the problem with using the word person? I use it all the time IRL and im as far from woke as traditional is to modern. I use person to describe someone in conversation when i don't know their names. Its basic speech.
@@saiwaqa2573 no, its woke speech. It is used today Only because u afraid to misgender someone, otherwise u would use "man woman", watch any video of pre woke era and u will see the difference in speech immediately.
