Swords Bard 10/ Paladin 2 is very strong multi class combination. Swords Bard offers Blade Flourish, so he can attack 2 enemies with one attack using Bardic Inspiration. You can then apply Smite thanks to Paladin dip. Lvl 6 Bard gets Extra Attack and lvl 10 he gets Magical Secrets, so he can pick 2 spells from any spell list. Spirit Guardians is one of the best spells in the game and its Cleric exclusive spell, but cleric dont have extra attack feature, so its nice to have SG, Extra Attack, Blade Flourish and Smites with that mutli class.
Its important for this build to have high Constitution, Con Saving Throws Profiecency and Advantage on Con Saving Throws to keep concentrating on Spirit Guardians when you take damage. Its VERY unlikely that you lose concentration if you have all elements I listed. Amulet of Greater Health is probably Best in Slot, becouse it sets your con to 23, so you can respec and leave con on 8 and it also gives Advantage on Constitution Saving Throws. Con Saving Throw Profiecency I get from Resilient: Constitution Feat. Second feat I picked Tough for more hp, but you can pick whatever.
I intentionaly had low dex becouse I wanted to be last, so I dont have to chase enemies on the field, they just come to me. I wanted to take some damage to activate Helmet of Grit to get Bonus Action and I wasnt afraid of dying thanks to High Armor Class. I was so confident that I didnt even get Fire Resistance buff.
Poison coating wasnt required here. It didnt do like anything here I was hoping to Paralyse Raphael, but it seems like they made him immune in one of the patches. Still had 2 crits on him thanks to ring and Illythid Power.
