This was my build for for Wyll during the majority of my third playthrough. I just liked the Archfey Wild Magic combo from a lore perspective. As Wyll shifted towards a meta Eldritch blast character I ended up switching the GOO warlock for mortal reminder and then a multi class into fighter for champion. I still kept the wild magic instead of optimizing with draconian Sorcerer, because I think it’s fun, and the bend luck ability matched my reaction focused party with Tav as a lore bard with Cutting Words and Gale as a divination wizard with Portent Die.

I'm a fan of Distant spell / Magic Missile combo. Extended range on damage that doesn't miss can be clutch.

Jo a build concept that I am going for that is probably not the strongest but i find it really cool. Basically i am annoyed that warlocks, especially great old ones, feel like machine gun turrets but not eldrich casters. What i ended up doing was 6 levels lore bard, 4 levels sorcerer(subclass doesnt really matter but draconic is always nice) and 1 wizard for the spell dips. The idea is to take hunger of hadar and command via magical secrets, get extended and quickened metamagic via sorcerer and evards black tentatcles as a wizard spell. Then extend command(2 turns) enemies to grovel inside hadar or tentacles and sacrifice them to your eldrich god. Cutting word makes them unable to resist your command or saving throws in general. I would level it with 6 bard 1 wizard 4 sorc but eventually you probably wanna start with sorc -> wizard -> bard so that your latest class uses charisma. Im still playing the game so i only literally just hit level 6 but im really happy that i finally have something close to what i think a warlock should be. Maybe this is interesting to you and you can find a cool spin for it yourself. Love the content :)

A build that I thought would be interesting to brainstorm up would be centered around manipulating "time" then going in with a weapon to finish off. The "time" manipulation maybe being spells like Hold Person, Slow and Haste maybe? Id even say mirror image can look time manipulative.

Oathbreaker paladins get Hellish Rebuke as well, and Lore Bards might be able to choose it but I'm not sure about that one.

Loving this! I really like the idea of fey magic just being crazy and difficult to control, gonna have to give it a shot I think. Also got a bit of a challenge for you - a lore-accurate(ish) Byleth from Fire Emblem Three Houses. I figured mostly Battlemaster with a splash of Divination Wizard (to represent Divine Pulse and the smattering of magic Byleth can use once getting the Enlightened One class) but it just feels a bit... lacking, you know?

Heyyy I just had this idea. a fighter that utilizes misty step or other teleporting spells to control the battle field. Anything else you wanna throw in to make it spicy is great :) I know that’s not a great guideline for specificity but yeah

Current PS5 playthrough is a wild magic sorc 2/fiend pact bladelock 4. I always forget that I picked wild magic until i get hit with the weird effects.

I built a wild fey one, respecced out of it really quick when it started swapping me with my target.

That's the thought behind it: Aaalright, i saw that video just this morning and watched it while having breakfast. ;) That was the whole point of it. That character would be like constantly in a predicament. Some powerful Seelie Archfey (like Puck for example as the Court Jester of Oberon in D&D) found it funny to make a pact with her, because he wanted to put a prank on Bhaal. Eversince it's like Angel and Devil whispering in her ear. Bhaal telling her to kill and make others suffer and her patron says "that is no fun, do something else" - without being outright evil or something. :D But in time, that saves her and helps her to defy the evil she was made of and the bad things did in the past. I had Archfey in mind, because those Warlocks also have some goodies so they can influence others during dialogues. Which is good for still playing the chaotic face of the party. On top she looks so sweet and innocent, you wouldn't think, that is a child of Bhaal. Looks deceivine at times ^^ So, you nailed that concept idea i had perfectly. I now have a plan, how many levels to pick of what, and still i can do as i like with it. Not too much written in stone. I like the freedom it has. The equipment suggestions are also cool. So like almost of your builds, very nice, great work. Thank youuu, i love it :) But i will do my utmost, not to kill Alfira for the Deathstalker Mantle, she's too cute. I will try to just knock her out and kill her Stand in instead :D Since you are using Mods, same as me, i have another question. Especially the Appearance Enhanced, i'm tempted to try. It gives so many options to change the look of characters, and even on companions Mid game. But then again, i read so many bug reports i'm kinda unsure if i should do it. Did you notice any bugs, issues or conflicts with other mods?

please please please optimize evocation wizlock, its possible to add 17 force damage with agonizing blast, potent robe and empowered evocation to eldritch blast (per projectile) making so that if every eldritch blast hits a target its flatout 54 force damage to 84 not accounting for crits or Damager Riders. 2 warlock/10 wizard. hagsboon on int to increase to 18, one asi to increase to 20. magic mirror, one asi and birthright hat to increase charisma from 16 to 22. (Knockout alfira everylong rest until dragonborn bard takes alfiras kill when playing durge.) Get potent robe from saving tieflings from moonrise (alfira needs to stay alive.) This means plus +12 damage is from having a charisma modifier of 6 by stacking potent robe, birthright and agonizing blast. And an additional plus +5 is added from empowered evocation. For a minimum of 18 force damage per eldritch blast projectile. (+6 agonizing blast, +6 potent robe, +5 empowered evocation, +1d10). It hits like a gods damned truck and you get all the wizard spells upto level 5 slots, and your level one warlock slots can be used to cast shield as a reaction twice per short rest. You turn eldritch blast into something way stronger than some level 4 and 5 spells. You will love it. Evocation wizlock is literally what every build channel has slept on.
