Hi and please see below new crimp type connector for use with #10 ball chain that will secure the connector onto the chain when properly closed with our new pliers. The old #10 B coupling connector is not compliant since the user can easily snap the chain out. This new, groundbreaking piece, will affix it onto the chain so the user cannot snap it out.
We have it available now to ship from stock so you can have it in time for the June 1st date that the standard goes into effect.

This innovative coupling is ideal for use in continuous chain loop operating systems with tension devices specified in the updated window covering safety standard, WCMA/ANSI A100.1-2022. The new standard takes effect June 1, 2024, and permits continuous loop operating systems in custom window coverings with compliant tension devices.
Ball Chain continues to offer customers cutting-edge component parts for use in today’s marketplace. Unlike standard connectors, the Ball Chain Viper V-Type Crimp Connector features extended ears, or flaps, on one side for the installer to close securely over the chain, creating a continuous loop.
