I would like to add, if anyone else is contemplating building this plane: It is common practice to mount the engine canted at an angle, say 30 degrees or so to create clearance for the dummy engine. Mine started out with a G38, but I have a DLE 55 in it now. Angling the engine gets the spark plug out of the way. I think this may be mentioned in the instruction manual, or I got that idea from a forum somewhere. But it was indefensible in getting my engine to fit.
