Back in 2004 we landed in Baltimore after an 9 month tour in Iraq. We stayed there, I believe it was 4 days, so we got rentals, did a little exploring and made a turn into a neighborhood much like this! I swear I was the hardest thing walking after what I went through in Iraq, not to mention I was with at least 30 members of my deployment team......but what I saw that night, it’s the only time in my life I made sure the car doors were locked! To this day I can’t believe this is America!

Went to Baltimore to my moms funeral and this place almost bought me to tears to my eyes, the people living there have no idea how they are trapped into this life. I was afraid for my life the entire time I was there and yet I grew up is this environment. However , I have been gone for 23 years this place does look like a third world country and yet it is never going to change. I feel s sad for my family whom will never leave. Peace to a better future for those whom want to get out...

If you live there you drink or do drugs just to take your mind off of all the shit going on around you. Shit was at night and it was more ghetto in person, I was probably in a real bad area. Had to drive thru the hood for a bit just to finally get to a gas station. Baltimore hood is something else.
