Baltimore is still charm city! CSX and local transit lines slice through the middle of downtown in this short offering of CSX and MTA action captured around M&T Bank Stadium at night.
CSX Baileys Wye sits in front of the stadium here and handles train movements of thru freights passing under the city and locals heading into the Locust Point Yard. In this video we see Q398-02, a Cumberland, MD to Baltimore freight pass east through Baileys Wye to Locust Point where the train is yarded. Westbound Y202-02 then enters the scene as it transfers cars between Bayview Yard and Curtis Bay Yard. The new GE Tier 4 locomotives are becoming more common with ET44AC #3307 third in consist on Q398 and #3350 leading the Y202.
Also in this video are a few MTA Light Rail transit cars operating on the line between Hunt Valley MD and BWI Airport.
