Baltimore Police target gas stations aiding illegal dirt bike riders 

I wasn't aware gasoline could be sold "illegally". If you look up the word "assclown" will you find the mayors picture?

It’s a gas station’s responsibility to make sure peoples vehicles are legally registered and insured?What planet am I on?

I grew up riding dirt bikes. We had something called a dirt bike track. BTW. How do you stay out of trouble by causing it?

Well you heard it straight from the kids of Baltimore. There is only two options out there riding dirt bikes or selling drugs there is nothing else that could possibly be done it's only one of those two things. He just said that he rides dirt bikes so he doesn't stand on the corner and sell drugs. I had no idea there were only two options in Baltimore. Then we get to listen to them interview dirt bike riders who say that they don't have anywhere to ride so they ride on all of the streets. There are plenty places to ride. I'm literally going riding next weekend. I made a plan. I am leaving from Baltimore and driving 2 hours up to Pennsylvania where they have hundreds of miles of trails. Unfortunately it does mean that I have to be responsible enough to have a truck and a trailer and load my bike up safety wise and drive it for hours unload everything and then go ride for the day and afterwards loaded all back up onto my trailer clean it and put it back up at the house where it goes. But that seems like a lot of work for these guys down in Baltimore. I'm from Baltimore I take my dirt bikes out of the city. I can tell you for an absolute fact that not one of my tires has ever hit city streets. Not even when I'm loading them up. I backed my trailer into my driveway and load my dirt bike straight on to it and then go away for a day and ride all day long. This is just nothing but excuses excuses excuses.

Note to self: never go to Baltimore… Probably need to stay out of Maryland also. So sad it appears to be like a 3rd world country.

Outrageous. The gas stations are victums of these gangs on dirt bikes. Im sure these gas stations just want those gangs out of there asap. And why is it illegal to put gas in a dirtbike at a gas station? We did it all the time except we had them on trailers and were going up to the woods to ride for the day. Disgusting the cops would threaten gas station owners.

Born and raised in Baltimore. Left over 10 years ago. The dirt bike riders in the city were doing this 20 years ago! Look up 9 o’clock boys documentary. Nothing has changed. As a motorcycle rider at the time, I was required to have a license, tags & insurance to ride Legally. Have undercover police follow them home, confiscate the bike, arrest the rider. Not difficult to do.

I got my first traffic ticket at 15 for riding an unlicenced Vespa without a drivers licence. My bad, the police should enforce the law, and if the public is concerned, they should help the police do their job. Personally, I wouldn't put up with the noise and danger to others on the road.

First of dirt bikes belong off road whether your a teen or adult…get a street legal and permit then license…then you can ride the streets otherwise your breaking the law…

We used to ride ATVs in white marsh before 43 went through. A few of the people that used to ride have since turned to drugs, a few have passed away from it.

The city should open up trails to ride. Repurpose Leakin Park and other city parks. Dirt bike trails all over Baltimore. Refocus the energy in a positive way.

Try that bull crap in Florida and the bike will be seized and the rider will go to jail.

Reminds me of skateboarders on the streets 2 or 3 decades ago. There were no skateparks, so they practiced their tricks on the streets. Then there was a concerted effort to get a skatepark in every city. The saying was (and still is), "If your city doesn't have a skatepark, then your city IS a skatepark." So maybe it's time for the city to give them a place to ride dirt bikes. It would give them a place to ride besides the streets.

If they're not street legal they don't belong on the street confiscate and sell them to someone out west who can ride them in the desert or in the woods
