Bam Update, Invading Australia (Plus Special Guest) - Steve-O's Wild Ride  

It took me 15 relapses to finally get it right, I now have almost 2 years off dope and benzos. Praying for BAM

I was sober for 8 years and fell off the wagon. It’s a struggle I hope bam and myself and anyone else dealing with it can get better

It's really incredible to see you continuously support Bam in his rough times. It's a hard battle he's going through and no one knows this better than you. It must really suck to be divided in your group of people because he's constantly messing with the injury. I can imagine there's so much confliction in every direction. Keep being awesome, dude.

Saw Bam on Fremont in Vegas Sunday morning at 2:30am less than a week after this incident. He was pretty cogent, he seemed more present than I've seen him represented online in years. It was 230am in Vegas, I don't think he was sober 100% but he was pretty clear as if he had made a conscious decision to moderate himself, but that man was polite, wasn't berating people. Gave love to people who were trying to say hello and cared about him who might have been afraid. Told him I didn't want to take a picture I just wanted to tell him I loved him grew up on element and everything he put out when I was a kid. He asked me to help him find a homeless man who needed money and we eventually found the guy. Before this is confused with 'he was paying a drug dealer' the dealers on Fremont are obvious, the man Bam was looking for was struggling in the cold and we found him. I've been through meetings for my own demons and cut alcohol from my life and Bam to me seemed to be going through what we call conditioning of the heart.

Scott's hair is getting quite luxurious these days. I guess that's just part of being an international star.

Was at that show with bam. I was so happy to see him and see him so happy with his son. As a fan it was so amazing to witness. So sad to hear but wish him absolutely nothing but the best and hope he gets better 🙏 ❤️

Steve-o may not be someone's biological dad, but he is a father too many who need him it seems and he is a voice of reason to those who struggle and hear this podcast. I did not expect that from his podcast, but I have actually learned a lot about life from listening.

For the younger generation that doesn't fully know who Bam is. He was essentially the king of the early 2000's. Between Jackass, Viva la Bam, HIM, CKY, MTV etc him and Stiffler were two of the most iconic badasses of the era. (Which I miss beyond belief)

I love how well you're still doing bud and trying your best to bring people up with you. Keep doing your thing and doing your best, it's all you can do and it's more than most people would do.

We are all worried about bam, I really hope he hits whatever bottom he needs to change his thinking. You are a great support Scott and Stevo he’s lucky to have you guys rooting for him

Sober now six years I just lost my dad a week ago I miss him. I can proudly say through it all I am still sober

In the end this just sucks for everyone involved. It sucks for Bam because it's true what Steve-O said....he's dying. And if this doesn't stop he will meet an early grave. It sucks because Steve clearly cares for Bam and truly wants to see him recover (especially coming from an ex-addict himself) so to see Steve so down from Bam's poor choices really hits home. And lastly it of course sucks for us fans who just want the boys back together and to be like the good ol' days. We sadly can never get Ryan Dunn back, but I just hope we won't lose Bam as well.

Steve-O has come a long way in his sobriety which makes me so proud. I hope Bam can get the help he really needs.

I had a very bad hiccup around Nov 5 and hit it harder than I ever did before. I'm almost two weeks sober again. And this time I'm doing it with support, my doctor, friends and some family. I know il keep to it this time. I've got nothing but love and hope for anyone who has a bad relationship with alcohol.

Dude Lathom is freakin awesome, dude's got an infectious personality.

I have osteogenesis imperfecta and i always get super exited when i see some one with osteogenesis imperfecta, this was an awesome suprise to the episode!! mine isnt as bad as this guys but i've had around a hundred of breaks, it sucks!.... i did also cracked my tibia from getting it tattooed but the guy who did it was pretty rough.

Bam will always be special to me. I hope he finds his way

Didn't expect to cry watching this podcast! Laytham's story was really inspiring. Imagine being 9 years old and realising there are no old people with your illness! Absolutely soul shattering. I'm glad to hear with the wrestling stuff that he's living his life to the fullest! What an amazing dude. I hope he reaches his findraising goal!

I know steve-o doesn't really read comments, but I think putting the profits in a trust that only the son can access is the best idea. I hope that's what you guys end up doing, for bam's son and the mother of the boy

Making huge progress toward getting and staying sober! Steveo is a HUGE, countinueing source of inspiration and motivation for me! In a Morbid way so is Bam. I don't mean to shit on him at all, I wish nothing but the best for him. But I really don't want to end up like him addiction wise. Thankfully I never had that bad a problem. No hard drugs. But definitely addiction either way, 100% harming my life, not in dramatic ways but still. I want better for myself, I want a long, healthy, happy, sober life. And God dammit if Steveo can do it why the hell can't I? No excuses let's get it done bois 💪😤

I remember in the jackass 1 finale Steve-O says something about, when your father says he’s not mad, he’s disappointed that hurts a lot more. I think Steve-O here is more disappointed than mad. Feel bad for Steve, man he really tried.

I've done every drug Under the Sun but alcohol gripped me the most I would go months sober but it kept calling me back so I hope and pray for bam and myself. I'm skating again and alcohol really does f*** your body up

Steve-o, You can clean up Bam's house, hang up curtains, and put some nice candles on the table to make it feel like home, but he will wreck it again. Don't feel guilty about someone wrecking his own house. This is literally what addiction is. If you hadn't gotten sober, your friends would have felt the same way. I have a deadbeat dad. Always has been so. But my grandpa was my father, he stepped up and set all the examples, was always there for me, and was the greatest role model I could have ever, ever asked for. And man...when I see Phoenix I cant help but project so much onto him. I so want him to have his dad, and I know Bam does love him and does want to be there. But not enough. I keep hoping and praying Bam will figure it out and be there for him, even if its distant. But just that he will be alive and coherent so Phoenix can have him as a dad at some point, in some way. But God it's hard to watch. I see so much of my father in Bam. Drinking and partying just win out ahead of everything else enough that he won't change. Then part of me hopes too that maybe Phoenix can have in Phil what I had in my grandfather. Someone to give him strength and be there. These days, really, Phoenix is the one I hurt for most. Over Ape and Phil, over Nikki. That kid deserves it all.
