Thank you for your update on the printer. I live in Knoxville and we have the very same super humid days up here as well. It is so humid we went out and bought a filament dryer box, a 4 roll one. I am not sure yet how well that is working out. Thank you for the informative video.

there are some temperature resistant glue sticks that will give you a better release with these materials it worked wonders for asa for me

Aqua net hair spray !!!!!! Herd it from someone on youtube not sure who. Religiously use it on ASA PLA and TPU. No glue lines, easy to use and clean. For what its worth.

Dave, I have the P1S with the textured gold sheet, and print mostly PLA . I have never used anything except washing with dish soap. Is this non-adherence issue only with high temp filaments?

Hey Dave. I have a Carbon X1 and I’ve been having trouble getting PETG to print. Everything fails. What temps do you use when you print with PETG? I’m using the textured plate that came with the printer and the ams. Thanks for any help!

You may ask your printer to heat your bed to 90C, but I guarantee it won’t read 90C if you used a temperature gun on it. I print PLA with a 75C bed to get good adhesion.

dude u need to , warm up the chamber before print ASA, no need glue.. just warm up until 50º. put a jacket or someting cover the machine. and just print .. and for PLA turn of the AUX FAn, no need for PLA thats why its get off

I agree about PLA. In my experience each time PLA print failed it was due to finger print on the plate.

Bambu printers are NOT all that great at all. I own 2 and i would never buy Bambu again. Constant naggy problems. Constant AMS issues. Not worth what they charge for the printers. Better machines available at much cheaper prices

Dave I’m getting close to buying my first 3d printer and the X1 looks like a winner. The fridge in the background is that a kiln for wood? If so I would be interested if you do a video on it as I’m a hobby Woodturner.

You know there is so many variables to take into consideration with 3D printing. Where people struggle to understand most of the time is environment. Your printer room will never be the same then the guy next door :P Watching this video, the way you manipulate your plate is problematic to me. Avoid putting your fingers on the plate, it's the best/worst route for failure. Thanks for sharing your experience.
