@@NathamelCamel man be quiet I am allergic to peanuts and I'm not out here winning jk man I feel you, try almond butter though it slaps. have a blessed day
Its not really that off to US prices. I did the math, buying all the ingredients assuming you had none at all would be $21.20, to make what he did with them would be $4.48 for the whole thing, it makes 4 portions so $1.12 each portion. Its even cheaper if you dont add the walnuts and cranberries since they're 1.23 and 1.04 (where i live) for 2oz to put in the one serving, but they're optional anyways. Without them its $2.21 or $0.55 a serving.
Well, he actually did a bit of a calculation. When you have 10 eggs for 10 dollars (I know, an expensive example) you have 1 egg for 1 dollar. That’s how he calculates his meal. But man, I want the 70s prices back. It was a way cheaper back then.
I think the ¢20 eggs are for that one egg, not for the whole carton. Also, no way everything he bought added up to ¢87 per portion. That’ll probably cost someone at least $65, likely more
This is the FIRST cooking video I’ve ever actually gotten up and made through following your directions. So easy and delicious! From a college student: THANK YOU :)
This is a breakfast STAPLE for me, I like to make them in big batches and freeze to warm up later. I've tried a ton of different toppings, but my favorite has to be blueberries with a lemon cream cheese drizzle
i feel like i'll make this with the thought that i'll save it for 3-5 breakfasts, wake up the next morning, and finish the whole pan 😭 it looks delicious!
Hey Jessica, then try this banana bread, you might like it a lot :) 2 bananas 2 eggs 1/4 brown sugar 1/3 vegetable oil 1 cup ap flour 1/2 oats 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 baking soda pinch of salt 1 teaspoon of cinnamon 1 teaspoon of coffe 2 tablespoon of milk apple slices (optional) chopped walnuts Just mix the dry and the wet ingredients together then bake for 40min at 180 celsius, I fell in love with it!
this is perfect for me who only wants cake or waffles for breakfast 😂 can someone like this so i can find this recipe late (yt really needs a save short button 🙄)
Thank you Kwoowk for keeping me alive. The stress in my life makes cooking take a backseat. Your simple and easy video recipes really helps out. Thank you
I saw that he used a fair trade banana which is the best. Fair trade products basically ensure that the workers are working in safe environments and are paid fair wages. Regular products don't make farmers fair wages so always get fair trade when you can :)
Honestly I feel like you should make it a staple to throw some protein powder in there too Probably wouldn't affect the taste very much and you'd be getting some good nutritional balance
@@Alzulruephes there once was a guy named Bunmi. He spent his time defending meatheads on RU-vid. Until one day, a meathead fell in love with him and they lived happily ever after.
I like to do this same idea but with quinoa and vanilla. I just mix the uncooked quinoa with some milk and a splash of vanilla and some other things and bake it. It turns into this lovely textured pudding and it's sweet and satisfying in the morning 🥰
My partner just got out of hospital and he needs to eat more fiber, oats. And you have so many good videos with oats! I'm gonna try this recipe tomorrow for him. Shame, i loathe oats...
I'll let you in on a super special secret I added to my diet that's helped me lose weight a lot. It's called Foxtail Millet- a grain from India and China. It's a complex carbohydrate with fiber. You cook it like rice and you can substitute any rice dish with it. Imo, it tastes better than rice, too! Not as much fiber as oats, but still VERY healthy and easy to make.
i also skip the egg and milk and substitute for yogurt so it's less runny and just stick it on some aluminum then add to air fryer for 10 min! doesn't have the most cake like consistency but it's pretty good :)
