Why terminate speaker cables? Which terminations are best? Which should you avoid? Plus, a simple trick for faster and easier terminations....Vv Click "SHOW MORE" vV
I've been meaning to make this video for years, and since I had everything out, I just started recording!

I know this is another simple video, but I would've found it helpful myself. I've been doing this for years, with no issues to speak of.
Anyone who says this disturbs the flow of electrons? C'mon, seriously?
The cable stripper can be expensive, or it can be $10. But I never play with wires without it. SOOOO easy!! And if you can't tell by the blue painter tape on the grips, I've worn this one out!

My Bass Hack video methods, with a good pair of matched, deep bass subs, are seriously game changing, seriously more than the subs can do on their own without my hacks.
I don't say that lightly.

Thanks so much! If I try to make videos when I'm not doing well, it's just as noticable, probably more so. Glad to be uploading again!

I used to use those kinds of connectors until I found gold plated Fospower duel screw down banana connectors. Then used some heat shrink to seal the back of the plug and wire jacket before sliding the jacks outer threaded case. The duel screw downs hold the cable tight with the right torque and heat shrink keeps the oxygen out of the copper wire. It does not take long for copper to turn green when exposed to the air.

I saw those, and they look pretty solid. Granted, nearly anything can fail, but I think those look pretty well designed. Good idea using the heat shrink! That's a little extra attention to detail that really looks good and has a purpose. Nice, thanks for your comment!

What is the best way if you have to connect two wires together obviously not ideal. Good video keep up the good work❤️

Thanks! Honestly, I looked this up because of you, and self-soldering connections would be my choice. Prior to your question, I would have either done soldering, or butt connectors, both with heat shrink. The self-soldering connection makes it so much easier.

What you think of the Marantz MM7055 5ch Power Amplifier 140w/ch (Each)
@Subwoofer101
@Subwoofer101 11 месяцев назад
It's interesting, but I don't like that it doesn't seem to have room correction, and with Marantz I'd be shooting for XT32. Doesn't seem "bad", but I would personally look for something a little more feature rich.

@@Subwoofer101hello how are you doing. I didn't even know that you get room correction with amps because I wanted to run my 2 klipsh 8000f and my center channel on that amp and my surround sound speakers on my denon x4800h

I missed that it was not an AVR! The derp is strong with me, wow! Yeah, totally makes sense, and especially using it for your front stage. Granted, I generally have all speakers set to "small" and a minimum of 90 hertz crossover or higher, so my amplification needs are generally well satisfied by the subwoofer amps. Lower frequencies are where the power is truly needed. Higher frequencies sip power. Granted, a good power amp can color the sound in a positive way (or negative) but I find that more power in the subs is far more dramatic and noticable. That said, I'm a fan of Marantz, and I'm sure it's a quality amplifier. Sorry for the mix up!
