Are you kidding me? I'm beyond stunned! My girl Siobhan is back! I still play Cruel Summer in my car. Oh they have to come to the U.S. Love these girls.
this is THE best 80s song of all time; the beautiful melody, the synths, the hammer drum patterns in between when there's no singing this is what 80s songs is about... PERFECT, the hammer drum patterns in between you hear better in the first version... or maybe it's because of the live audio quality, good advice don't loose these cool hammer patterns in between ;-)
Troll In their interview on This Morning the other day they said they will be taking the tour to other parts of the world - they didn't mention USA but it's highly probable considering they have a pretty big fan base over there!🍌🍌🍌
Very Lovely! I was six years old when I first fell in love with Bananarama back 1983 I am amazed after 34 years they still got it and even more hot now!
Great music , its good that all 3 are back together and they still look fresh, Natural , Madonna take A look at these ladies they look good YOU look like an Aliën Bananarama rocks
To think that there are some people who are terrified of her because she played the Angel of Death in the music video for Stay, Shakespears Sister’s hit song. And they think she’s that dark in real life.
I had just turned 5 when True Confessions album came out and then 2 months later came out as a single....The first song I heard from album was "Do Not Disturb"- in August of 85 but then album didn't come out till July of 86 as they were still recording it in 85 + part of 86-Great memories
Wow, they bloody rock! I still laugh at the classic lines/scenes they always make me think of though. "I picked up a windscreen washer at the traffic lights. Buns so tight he was bouncing off the walls"...."Cheers sweetie"...."The last mosquito that bit me had to check into the Betty Ford Clinic" and naturally "Darling, if you want to talk bollocks and discover the meaning of life then you're better off just downing a bottle of whiskey. At least that way you're unconscious by the time you start to take yourself seriously". For those that have no fecking idea what I'm talking about then look up the legendary Absolutely Fabulous and watch the ending of Ep 1 Season 1. Patsy opens up the cab door for a slaughtered Eddy who rolls out onto the ground. The first scene Jennifer Saunders used that was 100% based on her party days with Bananarama in the 80's. Ab Fab came about due to that, they were infamous for their partying and had a blast (as you would) and Jennifer was often out with them. The whole series evolved based on many of their antics combined with Jennifer's and Dawn French's comedic genius - Joanna Lumley has to be given credit there, she added certain aspects to Patsy that are the opposite of her real life persona that were hilarious.
