My Band Maid story will be set to the song “Page”, which helped me get through the loss of 2 friends and coworkers who died on the job as I was on my way to work in September 2022. I received my CD of Conqueror the day after they died in the line of duty and it was the first song and most therapy I ever experienced after 2 decades of military and police service. Band Maid has a reach that extends farther than even they may ever know. The Band Maid community online and the people I’ve met at shows are the most humble, salt of the earth, and genuinely good humans I believe exist today. Thank you all.

Wonderful story about how this started and grew to what it is today. Thank you to Ohrenje and team for the work you have put into helping Band-Maid on their way to world domination. The outtro left me with tears in my eyes. I believe no other band has a fandom like that of Band-Maid. Thank you agaub Ohrenje and team, you are an inspiration to us all. Greetings from Norway.

I actually came across the show "Mysteries of the Abandoned" purely by chance on Discovery + and I knew I recognized the narrator's voice from somewhere. It was driving me crazy the entire episode and then I saw Kasper's name in the end credits. What were the odds of that I wonder? Thanks for adding your professional voice skills to these BAND-MAID videos sir and thank you Ohrenje for your tireless efforts on behalf of the maids. 😀.

Happy Birthday Ohrenje! For the radio show they included Randy Bass (I think it was, my memory's hazy) singing the Hanshin Tiger's "fight song" and it was hilariously off-key and bad! It was _so_ bad it was good! Miku was highly amused! Those were a brilliant diversion that winter.

But know in your heart that there is a HUGE number of dedicated Band Maid fans who owe you a big debt of gratitude. From your touching documentaries to your fan films we all thank you and I'm sure that Miku, Kanami, Misa, Saiki and Akane are very aware of you and what you have done on their behalf. I'm a 77 year old rocker who had given up on the genre until the first time I watched the live official video of "Onset". I had been reintroduced to Japanese music about 6 years ago by watching a music video someone had posted on Facebook of the group Wagakki Band, for the song "Kishikaisei". I was immediately intrigued and enthralled by the group's musicianship and the magnificence of Yuko Suzuhana. From that I was led to Baby Metal. Aldious and SCANDAL. Then I hit the motherlode with Band Maid. Once again, thank you for all you have done and keep doing what you are doing, it's for a very good cause. Bon chance !!!

Another thing I wanted to mention but forgot, is this. After I finished my career in the insurance industry, I had a second career in the supermarket industry here in the US for almost 20 years. Part of that was attending the International Food & Beverage Exposition in NYC. I was there this past Monday, March 4th, and I happened to see a lot more Japanese vendors attending the Expo to present their products, which ran from tea and beverages to rice to robotic vending machines. Most of the representatives were fairly young, so I mentioned to them that I was a big fan of Japanese music, and especially Band Maid. I was a little surprised that less than half of them had heard of Band Maid or heard any of their music. But I recall reading that Band Maid has a bigger fan base outside of Japan than in it. I don't if it's because of the genre, hard rock, or some other reason. I hope some of them have a listen.

I love that "Choose Me" was your first BAND-MAID song also! I was randomly sent it by a friend who simply said "I see maids, I watch video". He didn't even like their music, he was just sharing it with me on a whim. I was blown away, enthralled, and now their music is basically the only thing I listen to.

My journey with Band-Maid began in October 2021 with Thrill but especially Onset and all the other following songs. Happy birthday, man. We were born in the same month, Ohrenje, but not the same year.👨‍ The Yoko Arena concert video will be released the day after my birthday. What a great gift.
