After hearing Band-Maid's breakthrough song "Thrill' 7 years ago, the next song I listened to was "Real Existence" which sealed the deal that this was an extremely talented band worth following closely. Seeing them grow and develop over the years into the best rock band on earth has been an epically enjoyable and rewarding musical journey. Thank you, Band-Maid!

ガールズバンドってあんまり好きじゃなかったんだけど、このグループめっちゃかっこいいしかわいいし、メイドだけどちゃんとバンドとして出来上がっててすごいと思う。

可愛らしくもキュートなメイド服が、見慣れると不思議な事にフランス革命時代の飾り付きの戦闘服のように凛々しく見えるのはなぜだろうか・・・ 　愛苦しくもカワイイ容姿と衣装が、彼女たちの音楽を実際以上に激しくも強烈に感じさせているとしか言いようがない。

That little *pause* just before Kanami blisters through her short solo... It gets me every time. And the outro! I remember when so many bands couldn't figure out how to end a song so it would just fade away, lonely and sad, as they repeated the chorus forty times. But these ladies know how to END a song. Wow.

初めてBAND-MAID の曲聞いたのがこの曲で、 かっこよすぎて脳天から痺れ、鳥肌たった。 そこからずっとファン。周りにどんなに 聞いてほしいと訴えても聞いてくれないんだけどね。 私はかっこいいものと美しいものを見るために生きてるから、 その両方を兼ね備えたこの子達はまさに神よ。

妙法寺にお参りしてきた。杉並区堀之内にある大きなお寺。周りを住宅街と商店街に囲まれ、すぐ近くを環七が走っている。境内は近所の参拝客も多く、保育園児たちが集団で走り回っていたりと結構賑やか。 7年前の話とはいえ、こんな賑やかな中でどうやってMV撮影したんだろう、貸し切り？それとも周りにギャラリーがたくさんいたのかな？妄想は膨らむ。 ちょうど若いお坊さんが3人いらっしゃったので、撮影エピソードを聞いてみたんだけど、当時はまだ誰も妙法寺に居なかったとのことで何も聞けず。残念😢　それでも彼女たちと同じ景色を見て同じ空気感を体験して、勝手に自己満足に浸っている。

Regardless of how rated Band Maid are, I feel like they're still underrated. Its so hard finding rock music that doesnt suck balls, specially post 90's. I don't know how these guys pump out solid jams at the rate they do, and I dont care, these guys rock, which is rare these days.

この曲が収録されてるデビューアルバムは発売当時買って、国内で知名度上がる前に海外公演に力を入れてる姿を見てた。2014年あたりにデビューしたガールズバンドは、雑誌Burnで特集されるくらいたくさん出てきてて、BANDMAIDもその一つだったな。5年以上ぶりの超久しぶりに検索したら、視聴者が爆増してて驚いた。活動が結実する黎明期をリアルタイムでそれとなく追えていたのは、運が良かったのかもしれない。

This is the best hard rock group I've heard in years.

So I just wanted to say, ok if I get bad feedback. I’m 52 and have listened to a lot of music including a lot of rock. Since I played sports in high school, I love to debate with folks who was the greatest. Because it shows me things I missed when they are pointed out. One thing before October of 2021, I would hold my ground and not debate is who is the greatest guitarist. It is my man from Seattle who passed the year I was born and the other is my man from Canada with the greatest 3 piece band. Why? Listen to “Machine Gun, live at the Filmore” and “Analog Kid” then October 2021 hit me like a lightning strike. First was “Thrill”, Then “Onset”. I was floored. I did not understand what I was hearing. Kanami Tono is one of the greatest guitarists I have ever heard. If someone asked me why? I would say listen to the beautiful noise her fingers make. I will not debate that she is one of the greatest, she is. I love this whole band Saki(incredible lungs), (Miku, voice could lead any band and rhythm guitar is awesome ), (Akane, seizuring on the drums), (MISA, if Special Forces needed a bassist….this is your General). On a side note… for me when I see Kanami in regular outside of her gear…she is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. Her eyes are huge and her smile is unbelievable. October 25th, I will see these masters of music.

I'm in love with these five talented women. Not because of their looks, but because of how amazing they are. I could not choose one out of the five. Sure, they are very talented, but not to the point to be the most technically skilled musicians out there (session musicians hello). The real strength of Band-Maid is their chemistry and how they complete each other. If you add great musicality and talent to that you get an explosive result. Are Band-Maid the best band in the world? Very likely. I hope they will conquer and dominate the western world.

Thanks to the efforts of the incredible BAND-MAID fan family the MV for "REAL EXISTENCE" broke the 15 MILLION mark yesterday around 5pm edt. We are also working to get "THRILL" to the 20 MILLION mark before the huge Yokohama show on Nov. 26th., if at all possible we are really shooting for the 20th of Nov. as that is the MV's 9th anniversary.

They’re such a blessing. They don’t have a single song that doesn’t kick ASS, they can play the shit out of their instruments and they all sing amazingly (and Saiki has SUCH a beautiful voice, which sounds so great complimented by Miku’s great voice), they’re incredible songwriters. And they’re ALL stunningly gorgeous lol! Best band to come out in the last 20+ years. I love band maid! They inspire me so much. It’s only been a month or so since I found them and Misa has already inspired me to really dig deeper into my instrument and learn music theory. Love love love them. So grateful for them. Totally a random find too. I love every song.

Congratulations on 15M!. this was the song that got me hooked years back.band-Maid breathed new life into me and quickly became my favorite band ever .I was finally listening to what I knew was missing in music for so long.
