Morning sir, would be nice to waatch a 2 year update on the review of how Kohler has been treating you. Have you made one, if not would be great when you get time.
You know I am a Kubota fan but the Kohler is just a little louder but I feel has more Torque and solid as a rock as far as the mounts for air cleaner ,radiator and accessory's ... the Kohler is really a Lombardi Diesel and manual says 500 hrs per oil change but do them sooner .. so far 140 hrs and not trouble
I started out with a rayco 1660 tow behind and now have a sg40 that you recommended which I enjoy and def the biggest bang for my budget at the time however I was thinking maybe a 2550 now for bigger stumps... something with a little more muscle. Do you think it'll be somewhat comparable to my 1660 or you think I'll see a big difference? Right now I use my 1660 on larger stumps but I sure like how you can maneuver that 2550 and I can swing the price of it....the 70 HP machines are so expensive. Appreciate any advice...thanks
Nice machine! Let us know how the Kohler holds up. I keep hearing mixed reviews on the Kohler diesels. Is it possible for a video idea you give us regular updates/maybe service advise on the machine (like maybe 100 hours, 250, 500)? You do a great job on showing us how to repair stuff but it’s nice to see what other people experience with their grinder at certain intervals. Just a thought and no pressure. Please keep up the great content!
What's up godfather I love that you show me that I unfortunately missed your last couple videos I got diagnosed with some nonsense but it's not going to slow me down I'm still on the path brother but I'm grateful for you and I appreciate you and I won't miss any other videos! You're an inspiration and a very wise man I love you and I'll keep in touch maybe I'll email you when I'm going through but I have a feeling I know what you're going to say That's why I'm not letting it slow me down
I can't say that I'm ready to give up manual controls for a remote control. It seems like you'd lose a lot of the sensitivity with a remote control unit.
Nice machine.. So you will now have 2 2550's or did you trade your other one? I like that machine, but the SG40 was my first one simply because of price point and ease of access to tight spaces. If you were to have only 2 machines in your business, one being the SG40, would the 2550 be your other, or would you go larger, say the SG75? On a side note, I own a Bobcat mini skid steer as well, with a Kubota diesel, and Bobcat was moving to Doosan engines in them last i heard because they couldnt get Kubota engines. Id say the Kohler in likely a good engine, but if you have 2 of the same machines it would be nice to simplify parts kept on hand by having the same engines. Anyway, thanks again for the videos, always informative.
I bought the 2550 when it got here it didn't have a blade on it. I could have swore I told him to put it on it . To add it on now will cost another $7000 . That's sounds like a lot to me.
